I didn't leave the Democrats, they left me. (The party that booed God won the election)
Market Watch ^ | 6 November 2012 | Sheldon G. Adelson

There is an anti-Israel movement among the rank and file, and the party no longer appears to value self-reliance, charity and accountability. When members of the Democratic Party booed the inclusion of God and Jerusalem in their party platform this year, I thought of my parents.

...

The immigrant family in which I grew up was, in the matter of politics, typical of the Jews of Boston in the 1930s and ’40s. Of the two major parties, the Democrats were in those days the more supportive of Jewish causes. Indeed, only liberal politicians campaigned in our underprivileged neighborhood. Boston’s Republicans, insofar as we knew them, were remote, wealthy elites (“Boston Brahmins”), some of whose fancy country clubs didn’t accept Jews.

...

So why did I leave the party?

My critics nowadays like to claim it’s because I got wealthy or because I didn’t want to pay taxes or because of some other conservative caricature. No, the truth is the Democratic Party has changed in ways that no longer fit with someone of my upbringing. One obvious example is the party’s new attitude toward Israel. A sobering Gallup poll from last March asked: “Are your sympathies more with the Israelis or more with the Palestinians?” Barely 53% of Democrats chose Israel, the sole liberal democracy in the region. By contrast, an overwhelming 78% of Republicans sympathized with Israel.

Nowhere was this change in Democratic sympathies more evident than in the chilling reaction on the floor of the Democratic convention in September when the question of Israel’s capital came up for a vote. Anyone who witnessed the delegates’ angry screaming and fist-shaking could see that far more is going on in the Democratic Party than mere opposition to citing Jerusalem in their platform.

Posted the story to post this:

2 Chronicles 36:16 but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, until there was no remedy.

Galations 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.

So many people now believe there are no consequences. When God brings consequences, no one will be able to stop Him.

The party that booed God won the election. Let's see what happens now.

God has plans for all who boo God, and it won’t be pretty.

Liberals think the concept of God is outdated and irrelevant to their intellect and superiority over their fellow men.

Thank you, Mr. Adelson, from another former Democratic Jewish voter.

6,231,634 less Republican votes in 2012

20,956,313 fewer Americans voted in 2012

These are the cold facts.

There you go, this is a fact. Godlessness won the election--this is what America has become so to all you know-it-alls who believe we lost because we didn't run a true conservative, chew on this.

Ronald Reagan could not win today.

I’m not very Biblically educated and am really just getting started, despite years of belief and studying God and the supernatural. The Harbinger was an actual education for me Biblically, as well in an eye opening sort of way. On the fringe of Christianity where I’ve spent most of my time, one just hears about things, learning second hand and through life experience and hardship. There’s an expression I used to hear, something along the lines of “When our world is being rocked, we often turn to God, only to find that God’s the one doing the rocking.” I remember that because it usually rang true for me and those around me. And I suspect it is still true now.

Only, now we’re not just an average person dealing with the day to day. We’re a very powerful country, the leader of the world and that world and we have changed dramatically from the country and people we used to be when we won The Big One and saved the world. Now, we have the biggest debt in history, the best nukes, chemical and biological weapons and we’ve recently mapped the human genome. We, the people, are being monitored by our government with the most sophisticated surveillance system ever created. We’ve been sent down a fiscal and social road that sets the countries who follow that path up for fiscal and social collapse leading to some form of revolution. And, we just re-elected the party that tried to remove God and support of Israel from their official party platform to lead and speak for us.

So, if we assume that God exists and has reason to rock our world, like we have given Him, then maybe hoping for the best (while preparing for the worst) while enjoying all the good that is, is a good place to start for today.

On the other hand, I’m not all that Biblically or spiritually educated, more superstitious than intellectual, and I’m just letting my fears run wild.

Or maybe it’s like one of those things moms say that are always true no matter how you look at it and "we’re gonna get what’s coming to us."

Yep, that’s what I’m afraid of.

God is now truly dead. He is a hindrance to an election. Cool people do not believe in him—unless its Buddha or Allah. To be Cool you must mock God! Look to see churches become Discos and Pot shops-—Only fools would worship a myth—so the left believes and now they can use God to tar their foes as fanatic idiots! Next one will see a rise in Anti-Semitism and attacks on Jews.

There is now a very good chance that Israel will be annihilated in a nuclear conflagration. They have only one possible response, to respond in kind with nuclear weapons directed not just at the nation that attacked them, but against all nations that are aggressive against them.

This is because after such a war, even if Israel fends off the worst of the destruction, it will be so weakened that its only remaining means of defense will be nuclear weapons. It can no longer play the endless game with the surrounding nations of “maybe we will invade Israel tomorrow.”

In no particular order, this means Israel will have to destroy the following nations:

Syria
Lebanon
Jordan
Egypt
Saudi Arabia
Iran
Iraq

If, however, Israel is to be destroyed utterly, then it should also have little hesitation in attacking the second tier of nations that have menaced it. This might include Turkey, involving NATO, but since the European powers have made it clear they have no love for Israel, then there should be little hesitation to reward them for their centuries of hate against the Jews.

Of course, the West Bank and Gaza are little more than gnats, but their peoples would be forfeit as well, forgotten detritus undeserving of remembrance.

Liberals think the concept of God is outdated and irrelevant to their intellect and superiority over their fellow men.

That is what the bible said would happen.
