For the record - I supported Michelle Bachman - but she was gone by the time my state voted - I pulled the lever for Newt.

Wonder what would have happened if Sarah had thrown her hat in? I understand her first priority was to her family and raising a Special-needs child is a priveledge she couldn’t turn her back on.

I would have loved to see Sarah run, but I do understand her family commitments and to be honest, after the way Republicans (including a few from Romney’s last campaign) defamed her and her family, it would be hard for ANYONE to get back into that fray.

I supported Bachman, then Cain, then Newt and by the time my state voted, there were only a few left. It was frustrating and disheartening. I never had a ‘perfect’ candidate in mind, I just wanted a semi-conservative if not a Conservative one. This election has, in an indirect way, made me trust God more because my eyes were opened to the real problems on the GOP side in a way they never had been before.
