A majority of women and voters under age 50 were against it, while men and those over 50 were in favor. Seven in 10 voters who attend religious services and four in five born-again or evangelical voters favored the amendment. The vote was split along party lines -- three in four Democrats said they voted against it, and three in four Republicans supported it.
Gay marriage is already banned in Minnesota under state law, but amendment proponents said the constitutional provision was necessary to block judges or lawmakers from overturning it.
with this and voter ID getting voted down, looks like we've become the cold California.
Voter ID got voted DOWN??? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!!
It seems like overnight, we fell off the knife edge, on the communist side, and now every strand of moral fabric in this country is falling apart!

There was some fraud there that I’m aware of because my militant lesbian cousin let it slip. (She lives in Minnesota) She didn’t come right out and say it but she said that they were having gay and lesbian election eve slumber parties with friends from out of state.
The family of one of her lesbian friends wouldn’t vouch for her to register to vote because they said it was cheating.
It still doesn’t change the law though
