About the only question left is will Romney lose by a bigger margin than McCain did.

Not a chance. He's already locked up ~200 EVs. McCain got 173. He's also won red states with bigger margins than McCain did, and lost blue states with smaller margins. Much closer race than 2008. Not that it means anything, of course.
