There are a lot of government workers in Northern Virginia, but not as many as you might imagine. Fairfax County is the most heavily impacted and it's just 1 out of 7 employed people who work for the government.

Remember, Congress long ago learned how to keep the jobs at home, in their districts.

Basically conservative but they like big Government because that's where their paycheck comes from. That's why Virginia is so close. If Romney wins their positions might be eliminated. And I say, good!
