The hurricane is an unfortunate event, however, all zero did was put on his bomber jacket and take a photo op. If people fall for that - they are more stupid than I thought. It was pure political and most people know it.
It’s not so much what Obama did (as you said, he really did little). It’s the way the MSM blew that little bit way out of proportion to try to make him look presidential.
That was sort of scarey.

Yep, and with the material the MSM had, they could’ve made the whole thing look like Obama’s Katrina if they wanted to. Let’s keep in mind Katrina was much more a state and local failure than a federal one, yet it was portrayed as Bush’s disaster. Yet on Geraldo this weekend, all we heard was “people have a misconception that FEMA is supposed to provide significant disaster relief.”
Absolutely, JJ. In the Katrina case, FEMA begged Nagin and the Democratic governor of La. to let them help out. They turned their nose up at Bush. Then all the video of suffering New Orleaners is used to crucify the Bush response. The media was scandalously dishonest, just as they are still being with Sandy (except this time they are covering for the administration).
