Reid says he can't work with Romney
The Washington Times ^ | Nov. 2, 2012 | Stephen Dinan

Five days before the election, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has ruled out trying to work with Mitt Romney should he win next week.

"Mitt Romney's fantasy that Senate Democrats will work with him to pass his 'severely conservative' agenda is laughable," Mr. Reid said in a statement on Friday, trying to puncture Mr. Romney's closing election argument that he'll be able to deliver on the bipartisanship President Obama promised in 2008 but has struggled to live up to.

Mr. Reid, a Nevada Democrat and a Mormon, like Mr. Romney, has become the Republican presidential nominee's chief critic this campaign, at one point accusing him of failing to pay taxes — a charge that Mr. Romney has refuted.

Hopefully, from the back of the bus, he’ll “hep” Romney. :)

I wrote Harry Reid’s only biography which lays out a long history of corruption. Unfortunately, I was blackballed by media (reminiscent of Benghazi). Reid could perp walk with a little effort, if anyone in the Romney administration cares.

Gosh, Harry, hadn’t you better be practicing saying ‘President Romney’ instead of ‘Mitt Romney’?

Romney should use this ASAP as he stumps with Senate candidates in the closing days of the election.

Romney should say that he needs so-and-so sent to Congress to work with me, because Harry Reid already said he won't.

“Reid says he can’t work with Romney”

Great—does that mean Reid is gonna resign?! That really gives me hope the Senate will then actually be able to do some WORK!

Please, God let Romney/Ryan win so that Reid can resign from the Senate. That would be SO awesome!

You forget that Mitt Romney is not afraid to use Kryptonite on these whores.
Mitt is squeaky clean, had there been anything, I mean anything on him, it would have been splashed all over the MSM. The tried, the looked under every rock, poked around in every closet, tasted the contents of every sewer.
But cam up with nothing. Zero. Nada.
Mitt can safely wield the kryptonite hammer. The one thing that each of them fears the most.
Mitt can tell the truth on them.
They will do as they are told.

"Your anti-Mormon dribble looks buffoonish 4 days before the election."

I know all about it, I was a lifelong member and "high priest" (same as Romney) of the cult until being saved by Christ five years ago.

The nation and first amendment especially are in danger fromt he breakaway salt lake sect who soon will have their death oath bound people in charge of a second third of the national government.

I will continue to warn in spite of your mocking. I am the one with the experience...What would you know ?

The tragedy (or travesty) is that he actually thinks, “If you elect him, I promise you I won’t work with him even if it means the nation perishes” is a good argument.

There goes the RINO cred about “bipartisanship.” Like Dr. Phil sez, “and howzzat workin’ out for ya?”

Nevada had a chance to rid themselves of Reid during the last election. But they chose to make a statement rather than win an election. The loss was entirely self inflicted.

Unfortunately Mr. Reid got re-elected last time around. He must really “bring home the bacon” to his state., otherwise, I can't think any “thinking “American” who loves this country , would vote for that guy.....I wonder just who the H... he thinks he is...3 yrs. with NO BUDGET...and he's getting by with it,....just like the guy in the white house has gotten by with tramping all over our CONSTITUTION..... remember when Osama/Obama was running the first time....and he referred to our precious CONSTITUTION as a “hindrance”. I expect it is a hindrance to what he has tried to do with this country the past 3 and a half years.....namely turn us into just another European “failure country”, more than likely being run by some tin horn dictator.

I think he may now realize that he's bit off more than he can chew, when he's tried to convert this nation to pure Socialism/Marxism. We LOVE OUR FREEDOM and don't relish the thought of more of our freedoms being taken.

I was listening to Neil Boortz and Herman Cain on the radio this morning and they were talking about Reid. What one of them said was that most Nevadans know that Reid's reelection was fraudulent.
