A flurry of swing state polls released early Friday shows President Obama edging Mitt Romney in the three critical battleground states of Ohio, Florida and Virginia, while Romney leads the president in Colorado.

In Florida, a Reuters-Ipsos poll shows Obama taking 48 percent support to Romney's 46 percent.

In Virginia, the Reuters Ipsos poll found Obama ahead 49-44 percent.

In Ohio, Reuters-Ipsos found Obama with a small lead, 47-45 percent over Romney.

Its common knowledge FL is safely Romney for sometime now.

No, that isn't common knowledge. It's conventional wisdom from some quarters on the right and it very well may be wrong considering Romney is STILL making campaign stops in Florida. If it were in the bag, Romney wouldn't be wasting time going there.

Do you they realize how risible they are? No one believes these numbers — not even Ipsos and Reuters.

Rooters is just trying to keep the dems from giving up and not showing up Tuesday.
I’ve got news for them. They aren’t going to show up with enough anyway.
Maybe enough to keep 10 traditional blue states blue but nothing that can undo early voting and the GOP traditionally strong Election Day voting.
It’s all over but the propaganda and whining.

Not true. Ipsos/McClatchy was 8th (actually not horrible) but Reuters / CSPAN / Zogby was 21st, 2 places from dead last.

Perhaps this is an effort to convince Romney’s team from campaigning in the blue states that are tipping over to Romney and waste their time in safe Romney states. A distraction if you may...

Any “concerned” people just need to see where the candidates are (will be) spending most of their time in the last days before the vote.

He spent ALL DAY in Virginia yesterday!!!!!

STOP LYING.

Mr. Romney’s schedule isn’t quite as crammed, at least not yet. On Thursday, the Massachusetts ex-governor is supposed to spend all day in Virginia. Friday is Wisconsin and Ohio. Saturday, he’s hitting New Hampshire, Colorado, and Iowa. His Sunday destinations have yet to be announced, but on Monday, he’s planning to be in Manchester, N.H.

-—”He spent ALL DAY in Virginia yesterday!!!!!”-—

Why did you ignore the last part of my comment?:

“Not that the candidates won’t show up at all in VA and FL certainly, but look at the big picture.”

I guess you can put me down as a concern troll/negative ninny...It’s the healthy skepticism that I have developed and watched over the years in that I won’t be surprised at anything. I still think anything can happen. Whether it is overconfidence on our side, or the democrats side...someone is going to be absolutely wrong. I think this is going to be a closer race than anyone is expecting. And if it’s close, then everyone knows who has the advantage (whether through unprovable/unchallenged fraud, or by simply driving out the voters from nursing homes, streets, churchs, etc...)

Every common sense thing tells me that Romney is going to win, but I have underestimated the stupidity of the American public many times before.

Just vote, do your part, and pray/hope for the best.
