A flurry of swing state polls released early Friday shows President Obama edging Mitt Romney in the three critical battleground states of Ohio, Florida and Virginia, while Romney leads the president in Colorado.
In Florida, a Reuters-Ipsos poll shows Obama taking 48 percent support to Romney's 46 percent.
In Virginia, the Reuters Ipsos poll found Obama ahead 49-44 percent.
In Ohio, Reuters-Ipsos found Obama with a small lead, 47-45 percent over Romney.

the magic number has always been 50% in a two way race, Obambi has less than that in each poll.
So correct. Would Romney be in PA on Sunday and running millions of dollars of ads in that state if FL and VA were lost? Wouldn’t Obama/Biden be camped out in FL and VA if these polls were correct, simply trying to hold down the fort, and not blowing their scarce resources with their own multimillion dollar ad buys in PA?
These polls are nonsense. From here on out ignore the polls and look at the candidates: where they are campaigning and how they are doing it. Romney is acting like a winner, not changing his message and staying very positive. Obama is the opposite.
This one actually is funny.
People who believe this set of polls are the same ones that fall for the mystery shopper scams and their inheritance waiting for them in South America.
Complete, spin-dried
Well, on the conservative side of receiving this “news” that should only make us even more determined and focused. It isn’t going to help Obama or motivate all those factions he has dissed.
Catholics? No.
Women? No.
Independents? Hell No.
Young people? No.
The Black community? No.
Jewish Americans? No.
etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum
Anyone who thinks We are doing significantly better in Ohio than either Virginia or FLORIDA needs to have their heads examined.
Of course, it is propaganda designed to influence people to believe Obama has it wrapped up. Nothing more.
Will be so glad when this is all over.
Even Al Rooters has O under 50%. He hasn’t cracked that threshold by today.
He’s not going get it done by Tuesday.
Its over!
BS polling.
Did anybody find the turnout model that they use. I tracked the tracking poll back to a 6 page write up. No internals.
As it does in Egypt, denial runs through the offices of Reuters.
“What’s the sample-size, Kenneth?”
I don’t see how they show O leading in FL - when he can’t win over the I-4 Corridor and his vote in Dade, Broward and PBC counties are way off compared to 2008?
One could say the race is closer in VA and OH but not by much.
And CO - well every one knows its in the bag for Romney.
Take solace in the fact that, if he is re-elected, the whole house of cards comes crashing down within months.
With Romney, we’ll get about a 2-5 yr false recovery, accompanied by rampant inflation, then a crash.
Pay off your debts with the inflated money during the false recovery, buy durables and commodities, and prepare for the inevitable.
Um, this poll says he is up in Florida too.
Looks like it could be a Sandy bump to me, though if the national polls hold with Romney up it may just be noise. All the prayers sent out asking for the good guys to win, and here we get an act of God (Sandy) that appears to have significantly helped Obama - at minimum it seems to have stopped Romney's momentum.
You actually think these push polls are legit ?
It’s a scam .
I wasn’t referring to this particular poll.
Its common knowledge FL is safely Romney for sometime now. Still I have to question why they show O in the lead there anyway? Its not a swing state this year.
Thanks! I didn’t see any (Barf Alert)
Reuters-Ipsos had the worst polling record of any outfit in 2008.
They’re on track to finish at the bottom again this year.
lol
your mouth to God’s ear
