Two women from the Dominican Republic told The Daily Caller that Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez paid them for sex earlier this year.
In interviews, the two women said they met Menendez around Easter at Casa de Campo, an expensive 7,000-acre resort in the Dominican Republic. They claimed Menendez agreed to pay them $500 for sex acts, but in the end they each received only $100.
The women spoke through a translator in the company of their attorney, Melanio Figueroa. Both asked that their identities remain obscured for fear of reprisals in the Dominican Republic.
When shown a photograph of Sen. Menendez, the women said they recognized him as the man with whom theyd had sexual relations at Casa de Campo this spring. Both said they were brought to the resort with the understanding they would be paid for sex.
Neither knew the identity of the man at the time. Both claimed to recognize him later as Sen. Menendez.
He called him[self] Bob, said one.
One woman said Menendez wooed her with compliments like beautiful before they slept together. The other woman recounted, with apparent bitterness, receiving from an intermediary only $100 of the $500 she had been promised.
He lies, she said of Menendez. He says one thing and does another.

Menendez is a lot another previous Senator, the much-remembered Bob Torcelli. He’s up for reelection this year. I hope that this defeats him, though state voters are focused on recovering from the hurricane.

Wow, I hope that the voters of New Jersey stand up and take notice of this when they vote.

He promised them $500 and only forked over $100? So he’s not only a skank but a cheapskate, to boot. Typical lib, trying to get (a little) something for nothing.

Yeah, the voters of Jersey will take notice, and then go vote for him multiple times, since, it's neither a crime nor sleazy nor unethical when a liberal does it, and it reflects well on the ideals of liberalism, where, it's only wrong when a republican does it.

Typical lib, trying to get (a little) something for nothing. Yes, but public officials should think twice before short-changing their hookers. The pay-back can be hell.

Payback only works against republicans, since, a democrat will always ask a simple question: "Who are you going to believe? Me or a trailer-trash hooker?". The liberal voters will always take the side of the liberal politician. Liberal voters will throw their mothers under the bus, if it meant keeping their government provided "freebies".

People in New Jersey are a little bit busy with other things right now - like, picking up the pieces of their lives. Most have no power/Internet anyway. Does it really surprise anyone that a Senator would be participating in such goings-on? Sad, but not surprising to me.
Bad timing, at the very least. Will have zero impact on the election.

I can’t imagine even the most partisan New Jersey voter being happy about this. Given its small land area, it shouldn’t take long for word to spread about this guy, the destruction of the hurricane notwithstanding, and surely they would react the way they reacted to Bob Torcelli’s corruption.

This is very believable. Every congressional vote that he has cast has been screwing the taxpayers for years. He would look good in a Billy Clintooooon Blue Stained Dress!

Great. Since he screwed them, does that make them official residents of New Jersey? They’ll probably get welfare. Doesn’t sound like either of them would vote for him, though.
