Paying these people $25 to be sterilized, you know, I’d bet they’d take it. Problem is, the ones lining up for it would all be minorities, and then the cries of “Racist, racist!” would begin.

They are paying people who have children to get more benifits. They do not care about these children and no amount of money will make them.
It should be safe enough to send the cards home with the kids, they probably can’t read it anyway.

Just use the old Chicago “pay to play” incentive and give the kids $5 for each A, $4 for each B, etc. You’ll get more bang for the buck that way. It worked for me, but the money came from Dad, not the school district.

Liberals have to be paid to take an interest in their own children.
It’d be a better incentive if it were for good grades instead of for the report cards. It’s not perfect but what about this:
“YOU get a $20 gift card for every ‘A’ your child earns on their report card. YOU get a $10 gift card for every ‘B’ your child earns. YOU are required to pick up report cards in person if you want the gift cards.”
Obviously, straight A’s is more desirable than no A’s.
BTW, I am against any government involvement in education. We homeschool, and I don’t give my children grades.
There are parents, and there are breeders. You want to pay the breeders, use your own money, not mine.
It is not taxpayer money, as I understand it Rahm twisted Walgreens arm to provide the cards- although in local papers says Wlgreens exec is doing voluntarily- remember Chik-filet

Let’s get it right. It is not Chicago that is paying, but most likely Title I Federal funds . . . . Race to the Top monies of which Chicago made out like a bandit compared to the rest of the state of Illinois. And just where do they get the federal funds. . . .your tax dollar at work.
Well, I stand corrected regarding the source for funds. It might be interesting to see how the Race to the Top monies are being spent. . . . .and by the way, I plan to cash in my Walgreen stock for such foolishness. . .what little I have.

That’s exactly the point that nobody wants to say out loud. These kids — and these parents — are the ones who have managed to find their way into existence despite the best attempts of Margaret Sanger’s eugenics program.
Now when Shanana with her 15 kids goes to pick up all their report cards she gets half the city budget....
and eggrolls
Better yet - fine them $25 if they DON’T pick up the cards.
