What’s Christie supposed to do? Act like Bloomberg?

Christie is doing this because he was elected in a blue state. He thinks it will help him in his re-election effort. I think it’s his thirty pieces of silver.

If anyone thinks Obama is going to get any political capital out of this, think again. The lasting impression people in New Jersey got today was one of Barack Obama being led around by New Jersey’s governor, making photo-op appearances along the Jersey Shore. Christie has looked more presidential than Obama over these last few days.

Yeah, he sure could. His pantywaist groveling at Obama's feet makes Bloomberg and Cuomo look positively stateman-like by comparison.

Guess he is still all butt-hurt about not getting the VP nod. (And in Christie's case, that's a lifetime of pain.)

All may be forgotten as long as Romney wins but if Obama wins in the end, it will be blamed on him and the GOP won’t help him at all.

He's on his way to vegas and all is forgotten. Christie could have been a bit more reserved. This is not Obama’s money or a donation if he like you he has to do the right thing or he looses votes and thats all that matters to this arrogant narcissistic bastard. Photo op, look at me I care. I hate to say this but Cuomo is low key and getting the job done, koodo's to him

Personally, I’m giving Christie a pass on this one. I know the tomatoes will come flying my way, but what Rush said makes a lot of sense. Obama isn’t on the campaign trail today because he’s touring the damage. Christie does care about his state and I don’t think that anyone can deny that. He wants the money to help rebuild his state. I can’t fault him for that, but it is a blue state and Christie has to run for re-election next year.

I claim no harm, no foul on this one and people are making much too much out of this. While the media is covering the storm non stop - we aren’t getting answers or coverage on Benghazi. I feel for the people caught in the path of this horrible storm, but it is a natural disaster that none of us can do anything to stop. We can only help with relief efforts and regardless if NJ is a blue state or red - these are fellow Americans in need.

It is a good thing to have a Republican governor in New Jersey because their democrat senator Lautenberg has one foot in the grave and the other foot on a banana peel.

The picture on the right of Jan Brewer shows the proper way for a governor to treat the enemy.

I’m sure that Bloomberg would like money for NYC but he did not to allow himself to become a photo op. The difference is that he can’t run again.
