Does anyone believe that when Barack Obama loses on November 6, he will go quietly?
This election is shaping up to be a landslide loss for the president, and by the ever-present look of desperation on his face, he knows it. The nation should be preparing for how he might react when it happens -- there is nothing more dangerous than a cornered god.
In 2008, Americans wholeheartedly bought the Obama dream. It's never easy to let go of a dream, but today, people have let go of Obama the dream -- and on November 6, they will let go of Obama the man.
For Barack, the yellow brick road leads out of the White House. And, having spent the last half-decade studying the man, I'm not convinced that he will willingly follow that path. I want to believe he will. But I am not so sure.
Barack Obama will lose this election in a landslide, but that will almost certainly not be the end of it.
Voting is more important now than ever for those who wish to preserve the union -- the larger the landslide and the bigger his margin of loss, the harder it will be for Barack Obama to pretend the nation still wants him.

I think one of the most dangerous things this nation will ever face is Barack Obama as a lame-duck. There’s no telling what he will do.
This might be the 3rd or 4th posting of this article. ?
I wish people would just STFU and wait until after the election to worry about this.
If he does get bonged, anyone know the over/under on the number of pardons he’ll issue on the way out?
My money is on or at about 250 pardons...
My guess is that after his first time ever facing resounding rejection, he has a breakdown and spends his last weeks in office sedated under psychiatrist’s care.
“This election is shaping up to be a landslide loss for the president,”
Can he pardon himself?
Could said pardon be negated by an act of a successor POTUS?
I pity the people who live in or near the big cities, particularly NY, Chicago, Detroit, LA and Seattle. What the anarchists and malcontents can do may make Sandy pale in comparison.
No reason why not. The president's pardon power is unlimited.
Could said pardon be negated by an act of a successor POTUS?
No.
Understand, though, that the president's pardon power is limited to federal crimes. He cannot pardon anybody from whatever state laws may have been violated.
No kidding! We're winning but we ain't won yet! Let's worry about kicking ass and winning right now...
Don't kid yourself. Nobody believes that anymore.
Great points. Thank you!
The sovereign remedy for legal action challenging electoral vote would be for the legislature of the affected state(s) to directly legislate the identities of the states’ electors. Not ordinarily recommended, but it would give SCOTUS something to hang its hat on.
He can pull a Nixon. Resign, and then his VP can pardon him.
Keep in mind there are multiple scandals. If not Benghazi, there is Gunwalker. If not Gunwalker, there is Solyndra.
I hope he does - that would be better than a conviction. You could never lose another argument with a Leftist after that. Ever. :)
