He had to have a certain amount of political skill just to be able to make something like Bain work as advertised. Companies are full of politics at normal times, and it only gets exacerbated when they are in trouble. Mitt had to be able to walk Bain in there and keep the herds of cats from flying apart.

Pretty important observation.

As J.D. Dunn pointed out in the article, Romney honed his gamesmanship in the arena of the free market, where one slip could mean real disaster.

Not only that, he took on an executive level of responsibility, which means that, not only was he responsible for the potential missteps of others, he took responsibility for the direction and fundamental decision making of the entire enterprise.

Where in Obama's history has he ever done any such thing? The man can't even take responsibility for himself, much less, the entire organization which he (ostensibly) runs.
