"In the 11 swing states, Mitt Romney earns 50% of the vote to Obama’s 46%. Two percent (2%) like another candidate in the race, and another two percent (2%) are undecided."

50-46. same as yesterday, and 50-48 in Ohio. So don't panic over the 49-47 national tracking.

O still sitting in the basement with 46%. I don’t see those numbers changing in the seven days that are left.

Romney’s lead remains stable for a 12th day that he is at 50%.

iirc this is the first i’ve seen RR at 50% in the swing state poll.

Remember how state polls lag national polls... he’s been at 50 for a while in nat’l polls but now 50 in swing state poll.

that is indeed large.

‘course we’ve seen a few polls here lately. I COULD be mixed up...

Just posted some EV numbers from Montgomery County. Still a win, but could be better. I want double digits!

The National poll numbers are trading in tight, stable channels. The Romney channel is 49 to 50%, and the Obamao channel is 46 to 47%. This is a 2-point improvement to the spread from 5 days ago.

Good point...

If this a swing state as opposed to a national poll, it validates a point I made in the past few weeks: state polls take time to catch up with the national average.

And now they reflect it. That leads me to conclude Romney will take almost all the swing states. With O posting the kind of number he does, its hard to see how he can assemble the 270 electoral votes needed to secure a second term.

This again is a rebuke to Silver’s thesis that the state polls somehow give Obama an added advantage not reflected in the national polls. Now we can see with our eyes that isn’t true.

Would you mind recapping them?
