Just be glad we have real time weather communications nowadays. Anyone who thinks storm warnings are hyperbole should read about the Galveston storm of the early 1900s. And detailed accounts of the 1938 “Long Island Express” hurricane.

I do remember Galveston. I think that was around the early 1960s. Those people had no warning at all. Tragic loss of life.

Not complaining about warning people and urging them to be prepared and/or to evacuate. I just don’t think I have to watch a reporter being blown away. I really worry about those guys.
