I’m thinking if the Benghazi events had involved an American child being molested by a Libyan mob and orders from on-high had been given to “stand down” any rescue attempt, heads would have rolled already.
The actual event was multiple murders of Americans witnessed over a span of 7 hours.
Why does the obvious ethical disconnect in this story persist?
Obama is the city-slicker who comes to town in a western setting, and is appointed sheriff, because nobody else will take the job. He claims his qualifications are sterling.
The local bad cattle baron is going to kill the small ranch owner and his three ranch hands.
The sheriff finds out, but is too busy “wink, wink” to drop his card game and protect the small rancher and his hands.
Thirty local ranchers plead with the sheriff to ‘ride-out now’! The sheriff’s knees are knocking under the table, but he plays tough and says, “No, we’ll go out in the morning. Everything will be okay. ‘Stand down boys’.”
The next morning when they ride out, everyone is already dead.
Everyone knows he is an ass hat clown, who was too timid to take a stand and help save the rancher and his hands. That sure doesn’t stop him from telling tall tails.
He remains sheriff because the cattle baron pays everyone off.
This is when the Lone Ranger and Tonto, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, or Hop-along Cassidy generally ride in to the rescue, and get things back on track.
That’s us folks.
The events surrounding Benghazi are 1000s of times more suspicious than anything that happened 11 years ealier on 911.
