For many reasons, which I have written on other threads and won’t repeat here, Romney’s refusal to engage HIS time on Benghazi during the debate, was brilliant. It forced the Old Media to ask why why why, and advanced the Libya story themselves, without Romney getting dragged into the mud himself. The Dinosaur Media are left without any sound byte that they would STILL be twisting to use against him.
Moreover, and what I want to point out here, is that -bama was “loaded for bear” on that topic with something to lambast Romney. What it was, I don’t know and it doesn’t matter. What matters is that -bama and advisers were expecting and intending a slam dunk on that subject to lead off the debate, and they didn’t even get a chance. That really angered Obama, and threw him off his game the rest of the night, groping for a way to get that slam dunk.
I invite everyone to go watch it again. -bama was mad all debate and continually tried to draw Mitt into a battle that never came.
The conservative media has to advance this story themselves now, without Romney’s help. It is the best way.

I am by nature, skeptical, although not pessimistic, so I remain sanguine..(eyes crossed) But, something is happening, something big.. I am seeing things that I can recall way back in 1980..
To test my thesis, we have to watch the media.. The usual suspects, meaning the reliable pros that have a real reputation to protect, not that it matters, because we know they are libs, they portray an unbiased persona.. They were the ones that showed the first signs of a break with Carter, earlier than the MSNBC type of blowhards..
These media types will try to save their a$$, and their network or publisher.. If I am right, they will start the ball, primarily because they have the real insider stuff..
Don’t laugh, but a sure sign that things are changing are the editorials from major Lib Newspapers in Major Lib cities.. But my first red flag was Letterman, calling his buddy, the Bamster a liar..
If you lose the late night comics that have protected you, this is a warning shot, they have big contracts and ratings to preserve..
