Having grown up in Boca Raton and South Florida in the sixties, I am totally amazed at this endorsement by the Sun Sentinel. The Sun Sentinel being in Wasserman Schultz’s backyard makes it even more satisfying.

from the endorsement.
President Obama is a decent man who took office with the nation facing an economic precipice. But even he predicted he would be a one-term president if he failed to turn things around. Just, wow!

IMO, they know it’s over and they’re trying desperately to save face.
I look at it as them spending every second they could supporting him, only to drop that support a few days before it was all over anyway, so they could minimize the furor at them should they continue to support him.
On January 21st, I think there are a lot of Leftist concerns that need a little payback.

We believe Romneys past performance is a predictor of his future behavior. Hes proven himself to be a successful businessman. He rescued the 2002 Winter Olympics from scandal and mismanagement. He worked with a Democrat-dominated legislature as governor of Massachusetts to close a $3 billion budget deficit without borrowing and raising taxes. Unlike the current occupant, who has no record of successful governance.

And not only did they endorse Romney, they wrote perhaps the most devastatingly concise critique of Obama's whole presidency that I have seen from any source:
Yes, the jobless numbers from September showed a drop to 7.8 percent unemployed, the first time in almost four years that its been below 8 percent. But the numbers are deceiving because more than 4 million Americans have given up looking for work since January 2009.
Behind those numbers are the faces of your neighbors, your family members, perhaps even yourself. Good people who want to work, but who cannot find jobs because job creators have lost faith in the nations economic direction.

San Francisco, W.Palm Bch, & Broward County fought each
other to see which county had the highest dem pctg.

OMG! Read the entire endorsement - about time they showed common sense.
I'm a native of Broward...lived there 42 yrs...I think the last Republican the Ft Liquordale Sun-Sentinel endorsed was Reagan...when I 23 yrs old.
Never thought I'd live to see it again....WOW!

The Orlando Sentinel (Slantinel?) has likewise endorsed Romney, although somewhat reluctantly. A few days earlier they declined to endorse Grayson to reacquire his House position as Chief Dummy Demagogue. See:
