Actually; you get the ping because you KNOW a lot about the history and lifestyle, and can share a lot of info about it.

You are correct sir. But FR is in overload gear with Mormonism bashing. The local community has treated us very well and while mine eyes are not glazed over as theirs are, I find good in many things. We have helped the Mayor of Orderville understand that there is no need to be ashamed of what happened here 130 years ago and urged them to restore the ZCMI building and other historic things from the United Order which they have done. We try to lead by example regarding our certain passion for historic preservation.

Every now and then we have visits from people that actually have begun to agree with our point of view and have started cleaning things up. The Bishops wife stopped by yesterday and volunteered to help with our daughters wedding. The Relief Society brings breads and muffins every year during our big event to go with the Tbird Coffee.

So now after fourteen years in the community and not stepping once into the Ward, people are starting to come around. And I will never do battle over any religious topic.
