Yes they have. Temple mormons swear death oaths of allegiance and vengeance against anyone who questions their "prophets", where they make a slashing motiton acrss their throats and abdomens to sfeed their innards to "the birds of the air".

Brigham Young and other FLDS/LDS "prophets" taught that decapitiation was proper punishment for either leaving the cult or interracial marriage. B.Y also said he would line up memebrs that questioned him in front of a cannon filled with shot and blow them to bits.

FLDS/LDS founder Joseph Smith himself said he would be "as a second mohammed" to those who would not convert, and that the time would come that it would be "Joseph Smith or the sword".

Like all cults, there is a great disparity between your neighbor/friend lowly member and the leadership.
