Less than two weeks out from Election Day, Republican Mitt Romney has erased President Barack Obama's 16-point advantage among women, a new Associated Press-GfK poll shows. And the president, in turn, has largely eliminated Romney's edge among men.
Those churning gender dynamics leave the presidential race still a virtual dead heat, with Romney favored by 47 percent of likely voters and Obama by 45 percent, a result within the poll's margin of sampling error, the survey shows.
After a commanding first debate performance and a generally good month, Romney has gained ground with Americans on a number of important fronts, including their confidence in how he would handle the economy and their impressions of his ability to understand their problems.
At the same time, expectations that Obama will be re-elected have slipped: Half of voters now expect the president to win a second term, down from 55 percent a month earlier.

[ Poll sample is 48% Dem. vs. 37% Republican. Still Romney leads. ]
Good grief. So Romney is actually winning big based on this poll.
Don’t get me wrong, I do believe Romney’s winning and that things are just as you describe.
I just don’t buy a poll that says a significant number of men are moving from Romney to Obama. There’s nothing going on in the race that would explain that. Remember that Pew admitted that only about 9% of the people they call answer the survey. That means you can have some really weird results in certain demographics, and Dems are almost always oversampled.
Then I tell them to go on google.com and type in Child Support extended to 26.
Some did it right there using there phone, and the look on there eyes...was pure horror !!!
I mean Horror !
bottom line after this education(s),etc...
Not voting for Obama !!!
or not voting at all ?
I put together a quick/short youtube video..not that great, but it sends out this news.
If fathers were made aware of this it might and will effect many men votes for Obama, because it will show them that Obama is not for fathers/men's rights one bit !!!
Since, this race is tied almost 50/50 in many places and with only 12 days left. Informing fathers/men about this will have a affect, maybe 1-2-3+% ?
just my .02 cents http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUN4Boy7i04
(Obama has one among men!)
The O is popular among men who shave their whole bodies and soften their skin with lotion.
