Romney for President released a new television advertisement titled Apology Tour. After taking office in 2009, President Barack Obama went on an apology tour around the world. He even said that America had dictated to other nations. Last night Mitt Romney responded, Mr. President, America doesnt dictate to other nations; we have freed other nations from dictators. VIDEO TEXT: In 2009, President Obama Began An Apology Tour Around The World
MITT ROMNEY: [T]he President began an apology tour, of going to various nations and criticizing America. I think they looked at that and saw weakness.
MITT ROMNEY: And then the President began what I have called an apology tour, of going to various nations in the Middle East and criticizing America. I think they looked at that and saw weakness. (U.S. Presidential Debate, Boca Raton, FL, 10/22/12)
MITT ROMNEY: [T]he reason I call it an apology tour you went to the Middle East and you flew to Egypt and to Saudi Arabia and to Turkey and Iraq. And you skipped Israel, our closest friend in the region .
MITT ROMNEY: Number two, Mr. President, the reason I call it an apology tour is because you went to the Middle East and you flew to Egypt and to Saudi Arabia and to Turkey and Iraq. And by the way, you skipped Israel, our closest friend in the region, but you went to the other nations. (U.S. Presidential Debate, Boca Raton, FL, 10/22/12)

Fox was playing this excerpt this morning...
Good for Romney.
thank you
DEFINITION OF APOLOGY:
1.statement expressing remorse: a written or spoken statement expressing remorse for something
2.inferior example: an inferior or bad example of something
3.formal justification: a formal defense or justification of something
Synonyms: admission of guilt, request for forgiveness, expression of regret, confession, act of contrition
Just my opinion, but I think still images of all the serial bowing and scraping rather than shots from last night’s debate would have more visual impact. But you have to admire the speed. Under the same circumstances, if this was the McCain campaign a commercial like this would not have happened or it would have been released on the Thursday after the election.
Is bowing like a slave an act of apology?
It is an act of surrender.
This was the best moment in the debate.
Heck, $70,000 to apologize for a video on YouTube!
How about $70,000 to explain the value of free speech in a modern society? Or freedom from religious persecution?
The “values” Obama was to export are homosexuality, anti-Christian, unilateral financial and military weakness, and anti-Americanism.
Apologizing to the world for our sacred freedoms is NOT acceptable.
Agree. I’d have liked that with a voiceover of 0bama saying anti-American apologetic things.
Still, I’m happy they put this out there. I’m not going to complain or nitpick!
Nice job, Romney campaign!
Jeez, and Obama thought saying he went to Israel as a candidate would sound good? I wish Mitt had said, “You haven’t been back since you were elected!”
I only hope that this is not lost on Jewish voters....some of whom would vote for Hitler if he was a registered Democrat!
I just wish Mitt had reminded everyone that 0bama wouldn’t even go across town to meet with Netanyahu, because he was too busy being on the talk shows, but in reality, the muslim was snubbing him!
