So far, so good in Florida.
Yeow-suh!
How does anyone know how many voted for whom?, have they already counted the votes? or are this only baced on exit polls?
Any comparative numbers from last year?
Good question.
The daily update in the absentee-ballot voting war is like the others: Bigger than the day before; and Republicans leading, but not like they used to. Still, it’s a lead. Expect that to change when in-person early voting, which Democrats dominate, begins Saturday Oct. 27:
Voted ballots:
Party Voted %
REP 315,987 45%
DEM 277,253 39%
IND 110,188 16%

Did McCain win election day in FL like he did in OH? How big a cushion did Zero have in “early voting?”
The know how many from each party requested early ballots, and they know how many from each party voted. No one is claiming to know how those people voted.
I would bet good money the Independent vote is skewed Romney
Which means the R/R numbers are even better
Can’t always go by party. I am registered as a dem (from 2008) and have voted absentee but of course I voted for Romney.
I do think I heard one secretary of state say his state did count the absentee votes early because there were so many votes to count on election day...that may have been Ohio or Idaho...whatever state had a law suit over early voting extending to nonmilitary.
Anyway, I am no expert. Maybe somebody has more information.
Yahoo poll currently running at yahoo.com
If the election were held today...
Obama 47%
Romney 53%
Over 300,000 votes so far...
And we know that there will be more Registered Dems voting for Romney than the other way around which is good news for early voting States like FL and WI
Don't know about the rest of FL, but where I live (Largo) there are mostly Romney/Ryan signs and very few Dear Leader/Plugs Biden ones.
Popular Vote
Barack H. Obama 4,282,367 50.91%
John S. McCain 4,046,219 48.10%
No idea about previous absentee ballots. Mitt should win big enough not to worry about hanging chads. There is a local Romney office this year, first time I know of it wasn’t the county GOP in charge. 3 Bambi offices.UF is in my county.
I figure if the Indy’s vote 60/40 in favor of Romney [which is not unreasonable] the the R’s have a 9% lead of the D’s.
That’s substantial only questions are can it hold, and is there not October surprises that jazzes the Rat base....
This can’t be early voting. That doesn’t start til 10 days before Election Day. Must be absentee ballots.
In Ohio, you get one ballot and you can vote for either party on it. It isn’t classified as D or R until the votes are counted. Is this the same criteria used in Florida?
