President Obama will spend 48 hours campaigning around the clock in a frenzied effort to court swing-state voters two weeks before Election Day.
The America Forward Tour, beginning Wednesday, will take the president through six swing states and three time zones during a 48-hour period, the campaign said in a statement on Saturday.
Obama will hold late night grass roots events, meet with volunteers and talk to undecided voters in Iowa, Colorado, Nevada, Florida, Virginia and Ohio on Wednesday and Thursday.

As the President crisscrosses the nation, he will spend time on Air Force One calling undecided voters, rallying National Team Leaders and volunteers and continuously engaging with Americans across the country about the choice in this election, the Obama campaign said in a statement.
Obamas final stop will be in Chicago, where he will make history by being the first sitting President to vote early in person.

I don’t know about the Hatch Act, but there is a law about fundraising on government property. Members of Congress leave congressional office buildings and use personal cell phones to make fundraising calls when they are in Washington.
I don’t think any campaigning is allowed from the White House. Why would Air Force One be any different?
I think this is an election violation.
"Hello, this is President Obama."

"Hello, this is Pres..."

I just realized phones don’t make clicks any more when you set the receiver down, they *beep* when you hang up. Derp.
Don’t forget the popcorn. My local Boy Scout troop delivered my new bag just last week. Have a very fresh supply!
I don't know which to do first, laugh or cry.
"Why, a new suit of clothes! And they're invisible!"
Just found out the Hatch Act excludes the President and Vice President from the Act.
“Hatch Act of 1939, officially An Act to Prevent Pernicious Political Activities, is a United States federal law whose main provision is to prohibit employees (civil servants) in the executive branch of the federal government, except the President, Vice-President, and certain designated high-level officials of the executive branch, from engaging in partisan political activity.”
Nothing cynical about that at all. FDR perfected buying votes with welfare money and Obastard is taking it to new heights. There is no question about it...why else would every single measurement of welfare payments be setting outrageous new records and why else would he have ended the work requirement for welfare?
My wife baked a big black cake when Teddy K died and she’ll have two cakes when ZEro loses.
“Obamas going to be fatigued and may say something very damaging to his campaign”
Couldn’t happen to a better person...I hope he is so tired he’s cross-eyed. (No offense to the sight-impaired)
Hi, Im barack obama.......................click!
Yep! You beat me to it. I was going to say this reminds me of Dole in 96.
He wasn't told about the terrorist attack in Benghazi until the next morning because... well, doncha know ...it was night. Obama was sleeping. And Heaven help the person who would have had the job of waking him up. You don't disturb the Won with trivialities in the middle of the night. (But the real reason was probably because he was drugged up or drunk and they knew he wouldn't react with any sense anyway.)
But he can be wide awake around the clock for 2 days to call people for his own campaign. Priorities, you know.
I love the smell of desperation at 3am in the morning.
I expect we are going to see some very strategic moves from R&R the day after the final debate. He has run a very disciplined campaign, and I expect a strong final push. R&R need to close on a positive uplifting note. Forward looking.
I disagree.
Obamalinsky WAS doing his job - i.e. attacking/collapsing the US economy, weakening the Constitution and US global respect while building up Moose-slum terrorists.
“Obamas final stop will be in Chicago, where he will make history by being the first sitting President to vote early in person.
How many times?
I hope he makes some additonal history in the next couple weeks. Like the largest loss by an incumbent president.
How many times?
That IS the Chicago way -- vote early, vote often, vote from the grave.
Tax payers are paying a lot not Obama. He pays a first class ticket.
AF One operating costs - first class tickets = big bucks left over paid by tax payers.
