The Republican party is bracing itself - and preparing to fight back - against Gloria Allred's rumored "October Surprise" on Republican presidential hopeful, Mitt Romney, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
"We're doing too well to risk 'an Allred,' she can be stopped, but it will take action on our behalf," a GOP watchdog group blogged, asking supporters to contact Romney's campaign headquarters, the Republican National Committee and Judicial Watch.
As previously reported, Drudge Report founder and respected politico, Matt Drudge, tweeted Thursday: "Here she comes. Hearing Gloria Allred out there again, about to make a move. After all, it's her time of the campaign. Team O at the ready!!"
Allred, an outspoken supporter of President Barack Obama refused to confirm, or deny, Drudge's prediction, telling RadarOnline.com: "I have no comment at this time about Mr. Drudge's Tweet. I don't discuss meetings with potential clients."
The Red Side of Life, Conservative Musings from New York says on their website, "Gloria Allred Prepares Anti-Mitt Strike. You Can STOP Her Now! (action!) Don't underestimate Gloria Allred's ability to inflict damage. The media will 'eat up' anything she feeds them and turn it into an endless scandal. Recall she took down Cain and RINO Whitman with NO EVIDENCE. We're doing too well to risk 'an Allred.' She can be stopped, but it will take action on our behalf."
The blog asks supporters to "please make these two calls. We will only get their attention if we bombard them. If you get VM, leave a message," to the Republican National Committee and Mitt Romney's national presidential campaign headquarters.
"The critical points to get across: Warn them about the pending attack (they really may not know) - Explain the severity of damage Allred can inflict - Demand that they get their teams of lawyers to launch a pre-emptive strike against Allred, coming down on her first like a ton of bricks -This is no trifling matter. Let's roll!"
During GOP Meg Whitman's run to become governor of California, Allred represented Nicky Diaz, a former housekeeper for the Whitman family. The housekeeper alleged that she was terminated from her employment because she was an illegal immigrant and that could have derailed Whitman's quest to become California's first female governor. Whitman ultimately lost the election to Democrat Jerry Brown.
Allred was a delegate for President Obama at the DNC in North Carolina last summer.
Most polls show the presidential race between President Obama and Governor Romney to be in a statistical dead heat, with both candidates heavily courting the female vote.
My guess is that the process of getting pregnant and having the abortion messed her up more than the discussion she had with Mitt.
The whole abortion thing is BS. Even if Row were overturned, it would revert to the states. In the states where this is a BIG deal, they wouldnt change the laws anyway.

If Gloria has anyone it will be some former disgruntled female Bain employee who will harp on about an inhospitable work environment, or not being paid enough.
That, or some vague allegation of harassment by a former female employee. Either one would fit Allred’s MO.

The report was only released hours ago and Obama supporters already seem to be taking the news seriously. Change.org already has an online petition up and running that calls for “Attorney General Eric Holder: Investigate Tagg Romney owning voting machines in OHIO....”.
Looks like things may get very interesting in the Buckeye state in the coming weeks.

The Vulnerability Assessment Team at Argonne Laboratory, which is a division of the Department of Energy, discovered this summer that Diebold touch-screen e-voting machines could be hijacked remotely, according to team leader Roger Johnston. Salon reported on it today, noting that as many as a quarter of American voters are expected to be using machines that are vulnerable to such attacks in the 2012 election.

If anyone here doubts for a minute that Obama doesn’t have some sleazy ace up his sleeve you better think again. This is him electorial modus operendi. He dug up dirt on his two democrat primary opponents in his run for State Senate in the People’s Republic of Illinos...they dropped out and he waltzed into the State Senate seat. Then, when he was running for US Senator, his campaign managed to get a Chicago Newspaper to do his dirty work, managing to get them to file a suit in court to force the disclosure of Jack Ryan’s divorce records. Those records were sealed by mutual agreement for the protection of Jack Ryan’s child, but a liberal judge (court shopping worked) ordered them released. The resultant, unproven allegations of his bitter wife claiming trips to swinging wife-swapping clubs were made public and Jack Ryan dropped out of the race. Ambassador Keyes stepped in, but by that time, and since Keyes, while genuinely Black, was an outsider and not a Chicago mafia style, Rev. Wright type was trounced as the sacrificial lamb he knew he was.
Obama no doubt has a dirty trick or two waiting and as he gets desperate, we can expect them to be played. A wag-the-dog drone strike (ala Bill Clinton’s taking out of the Aspirin Factory) can not be far behind!! And the TOOL Gloria Allred will be out front leading the slime attack!
This is going to get dirtier and dirtier the closer we get to Nov. 6. Let’s hope the American people can not so easily deceived!
The dems use stalinist tactics and as a result don’t require much to amount to a “scandal”. They can invent scandal out of thin air. Romney put more women in his administration than Obama and they still try to make up some issue about “binders”. Romney could have done something else good and now they will claim it’s somehow bad. I have never seen such pathetic desperation.Very well said.
I think Romney should seriously prepare for the possibility that some kind of huge baseless attack is coming at the very last minute.
The way to prepare, in my opinion, is to be ready to counter-attack against the MEDIA, to call out the MEDIA loud and clear for all the Obama cover-ups they've engaged in since 2007 or so and how they are quick to broadcast a smear but completely unresponsive on a whole list of substantive serious charges, such as a strong leftist past, a strong leftist career path and a strong leftist history leading up to such horrors as Fast and Furious, which the MEDIA has completely ignored.
That's the way to counter-attack. Not to attack Gloria AllScum. She's a slug, a slut, a whore and a worm. I wouldn't waste one word on her.
And not attack Obama directly, since it might be seen as unfair to blame Obama for what AllScum has done.
But to attack the MEDIA for being slow-to-the-point-of-dead on all issues regarding Obama and yet instantly on the rooftops with megaphones blaring out the accusations of an AllScum. I think it could end up being a powerful close to the campaign if he has the guts to do it.
As for AllScum herself, everyone should be ready for the possibility that what she's saying now is a head-fake and that the baseless charges won't come from her but from some other scum-sucking worm who's not saying anything right now.
Romney campaign should start talking about the mysterious deaths related to Obama....that should shut them down...
I read Billy Graham’s book about his life; one of his rules was whenever he travelled he always had men with him and around him. If he counseled a woman, another person was in the room, etc. He always made sure that he could not be accused or be tempted to sway to sin.
Whitman would have lost anyway.
