Washington (CNN) -- Before Tuesday night's debate, polls showed Mitt Romney had gained ground with women voters.
But his comments about using "whole binders full of women" as a hiring aid while governor, whiffing on an equal pay law question, and alluding to helping women get home to cook dinner has landed the GOP presidential hopeful in verbal quicksand with some female voters.
He'll have to do some serious repair to regain traction, political experts say.

That's reason enough in and of itself to never listen to a word a liberal says.
Let me guess. The female voters are Abdullah and her lesbian lover, while the political experts are her fellow hacks at CNN.
>> LOL, yet another manufactured ‘gaffe’.
Exactly. Anything estrogenic would have served for the propaganda.
I think I need to stay away from all political news for a week.
I have a bad feeling that the scumbags in the MSM are going to be successful in creating a “bounce” in the polls for the Kenyan over the next few days. They will once again gleefully declare the race over and it will be disgusting to watch.
They won’t be able to maintain it though. When I check back in next week, things should be much improved.
In the meantime, I am going to be working my tail off for Romney and my local Congressmen who faces a tough but very winnable race.
Put some ice on it, honey!
The Alinsky PC agenda doesn’t seem to be working anymore. It’s all so niggardly.
hogwash. cnn is seriously reaching on this one.
Seems like they’re reaching pretty hard if this is all they’ve got
I don’t believe a word of this.
Funny, ain’t it, how CNN doesn’t thing Obama made a gaffe by saying high gas prices are good and low gas prices are bad?
Screw you, CNN.
The next election cycle, Republicans ought to avoid these biased bastards.
everybody but assholes know what the binders are.....media trying to make something out of nothing
Well then, it must be true!
(extreme sarcasm)
How ironic.. a muslim named “abdullah” counseling about relating to women.
Back to whatever diseased hellhole you came from, knuckledragger.
I’m offended that the media and the TWITS of this country are so focused on the way he said it, and not on what he said.
He set up a panel to find and recruit talented women for top-level jobs.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THAT?
Isn’t that what they’ve been bitchin about and begging for all these years?
“WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THAT?”
As a guy I can’t begin to explain it; at least Bush spoke out against affirmative action. Romney seems to be proud of his role in it.
I think he should be proud, and it doesn’t, in my book, amount to affirmative action.
Were you listening to his preparatory remarks? He said he looked at the lists of names brought to him when he was setting up his administration and they were ALL male.
So he said “Go out and find me some talented women”, presumably to get some balance.
Doesn’t sound to me like numbers or race or sexual preference or anything else was the criteria.
Affirmative action MUST be defined in such a way that a lower-qualified applicant gets preferences over another applicant based SOLELY on race or sex or whatever other criteria...
When the fall of our civilization is chronicled, it’s not going to be government... it’s not going to be the American work force...
It’s gonna be cell phones, Twitter, and Honey Boo Boo!!
(Don’t worry Laz, you’ll get a footnote!!)
