True or untrue. It’s still gossip. And in case the Christian Post is unaware...

Gossip is frowned on in the Bible.

RE: Gossip is frowned on in the Bible.

Well, then a lot of what is being discussed and reported here at FR is frowned upon in the Bible, especially as it relates to Democrats.

Might as well ask the mods to delete most of the posts and threads relating to a person’s private affairs.

Gossip is frowned on in the Bible.

I guess but at least 60% of the material on FR -- including your own posts -- can be seen as "gossip" in one capacity or another.

I disagree with your definition of gossip.

It is not gossip to expose a public figure for adultery, and to explain why someone is suspended as head of a Christian college.

It is not our job to cover other people’s sins for them.

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” Eph. 5:11

Those who prefer to do their evil in darkness count on the misunderstanding of what gossip is to help cover the evil they do.

Gossip is malicious speech - untrue - and designed for harm. Detailing the reasons for D’Souza’s suspension meets none of these criteria.
