Was Romney befuddled on nailing Obama's obvious, deliberate, and outrageous lie in this last debate?

“Mr. Obama further told the outrageous untruth that in a democracy, the President should not be criticized over a defense/foreign policy disaster.”

Does President Doofus realize that America is not a democracy?

Actually I think he was taken aback by Candy Cruller’s Ed McMahon imitation. “You are correct sir. HA HA HA!!!”

It was the weakest response the entire night by Romney. He seemed tepid when this issue arose. It didn’t help that Jaba the C interjected her falsehood.

Of course Romney was confused. Any normal person would be. He KNEW he had O dead to rights ... And yet CC was confirming O’s story. Since Romney couldn’t say “BS!!” on tv, what was left to say?

Obama did his job during the debate which was not to debate the actual issues but to pound home the talking points of his campaign and keep Romney off track (is best Biden impersonation). Whenever Romney began to tie the knot (and it did take him too long to do it) he was interupted by obama or crowley. Crowley did say they would come back to the issue again but they never did, probably because Romney would win that point.

Mr. Obama further told the outrageous untruth that in a democracy, the Democrat President should not be criticized over a defense/foreign policy disaster.

Looks like a word or two got misplaced in the quote, so I fixed it. How many times did a Senator (D-wherever) go to the well of the Senate and criticize Reagan or either of the Bushes about a foreign policy issue?

The narcissist is showing his thin skin yet again.

A further excerpt:

Even worse, as I keep saying, is Mr. Obama's anti-Constitutional pretention that no one is allowed to criticize him on foreign policy or else it's "playing politics."

To this, Mr. Romney should have said that it is the essence of a free people that the elected officials can and must be criticized for their mistakes. Otherwise, we do not have a democracy.

Incredible view on the President's accountability to the nation! What a redimensioning of Obama's arrogance!

He may have not been ready for the question, but I’m willing to give him a pass on that.

Ben Stein is a bit of an oddity. Sometimes he seems like he supports conservatives, but I don’t get the feeling he’s completely on board. I’ve seen times where he’s been like everyone else in the media, fawning over Obama.

I consider him maybe a slight step above Peggy Noonan.

How many times before the debate did OZombie blame the video? We can only be surprised he didn't use his old crutch excuse once again (with fawning media in full agreement)?

Any who questions the murder of the Ambassador and his staff must be like chalk on a blackboard to Obama.

Noting he didn't champion that he banned drilling in half of Alaska's oil reserves this past week? He's the great "energy independence" hypocrite president.

If that's the case somebody better tell his friend Bill Ayers and his "pastor" Jeremiah Wright both of whom have made careers out of criticizing foreign policy

Funny I saw it quite differently than most people.

I saw Romney NOT get cowed by Obama's theatrical "outrage".

I observed Romney letting the drama queen have his moment...then Romney calmly and forcefully showed how Obama was wrong.

I really liked Romney's whole debate performance. He came across as adult and Presidential.

Obama did try hard...but didn't gain an iota.

What went right?, is a better question.

Romney had Obama by the short hairs, but did not go for the jugular.

Next chance is Monday, Romney - - - MONDAY!

Benghazi IS Obama’s “Pearl Harbor,” but will Romney have the guts to “score political points” and “politicize” the Benghazi Blunder and make it into a “day which shall live in infamy?”

Will the Checks and Balances of a Presidential Election send the Obama Flotilla to the bottom of Censoring Liberal Agenda Media (CLAM) Bay?

Or will Romney wuss-up and not be a “bully” because the delicate fair sex is watching TV for the PC distasteful evil of “bickering?”

BTW, without bickering, there is no debate, and without loss of blood there is no War.

IMHO, what Romney needs to do is make Monday a DEBATE WAR, with lots of blood and lots of bickering.

Obama is a thin-skinned coward who has no idea how to lead.

A thick-skinned leader such as Romney will win in a rout on Monday!

Empty Chair, AWOL Obama in his FOLLOW (=lead from behind) Foreign Policy still has not come to grips with the fact that Benghazie was his Pearl Harbor.

President-to-be Romney was the only adult in the room on the Cairo event, and two weeks ahead of Obama’s Kindergarten on Benghazie.

Discard the delicate Fencing Sword Romney, and on MONDY use THE VIKING SWORD!

...Mr. Romney completely got flustered by an outright lie by Mr. Obama.

Flustered? He didn't look flustered to me. He looked mad as hell and I don't blame him. 0bowelsounds lied to his face and to the nation. Considering what he was lying about he deserved to be punched in the face.

I wish I could stop hearing the constant droning about what Romney should have said. The fact is that Obama has been caught in a lie. What Romney should have said is irrelevant and Romney did pursue the issue and was cut off. Obama lies and Romney is at fault?
