There aren’t any well-defined fault lines out this way. Quakes are mostly notable because they are infrequent, not because they are catastrophic. Didn’t even rattle the dishes here, and if it’d passed in 2 seconds, would have been like a nearby lightning strike.

Was at home on vacation during the first week of October. experienced a small tremor at my house. Less than 8 seconds. The tea in my cup that was resting on the table burbled a bit. I am far from the nearest road, so it was not a logging truck.

Looked all over the net but it wasnt picked up.
