Oh brother.

I looked up Crowley's Wiki page a few weeks ago. It has very little to say about her, but it does mention her devotion to Transcendental Meditation.

There could be an entire post on that subject alone, but let me say this: Transcendental Meditation is by it's very definition and practice something that Christianity rejects as evil and Satanic.

http://www.christiandoctrine.net/doctrine/articles/article_00009_transcendental_meditation_web.htm

"TM adherents gradually lose their personality and their touch with reality. They literally live in a world of their own. With this disintegration of personality there is also a loss of inter-personality...love for others fades away as they simply drift off into a world created by evil spirits. The actual world is perceived to be 'unreal' and only what the adherent 'sees' via his 'higher consciousness' is accepted as real.

This is not unlike the distorted perceptions experienced by certain types of drug-users and by those with mental imbalance. Another word for all this is deception."

So as you watch the debate "moderator" tonight (and the spin from tomorrow), keep her twisted belief system in mind.

I predict she will be horrific. She thinks this debate is about her, and that she has some sort of rendezvous with destiny.

She is a typical socialist, looks like someone set her face on fire and beat it out with a track shoe!

Well, TM and gastric bypass surgery coupled with liposuction and facelifts. You have to take up some sort of calm hobby for something to do after all the post op’s.

Quote me one passage in the Bible where it says meditation is Satanic.

Shades of yellow and a goofy hat are not Candy's best look.

Just sayin'....

Let’s go easy on Candy. She’s closer to a real journalist than most over there, and also, CNN seems to be seriously eyeing the demographic (right-of-center folks) that Fox seems to be abandoning.

Media controls the debate process again, and appoints a witch as a moderator.

I would suggest she try Jenny Craig to show how she could really be successful.

This was in the news last week:

Excerpt:

If You’re Too Busy to Meditate, Read This

By Peter Bregman
Harvard Business Review Blog Network
October 12, 2012

This morning, like every morning, I sat cross-legged on a cushion on the floor, rested my hands on my knees, closed my eyes, and did nothing but breathe for 20 minutes.

People say the hardest part about meditating is finding the time to meditate. This makes sense: who these days has time to do nothing? It’s hard to justify.

Meditation brings many benefits: It refreshes us, helps us settle into what’s happening now, makes us wiser and gentler, helps us cope in a world that overloads us with information and communication, and more. But if you’re still looking for a business case to justify spending time meditating, try this one: Meditation makes you more productive.

How? By increasing your capacity to resist distracting urges.

Research shows http://blogs.hbr.org/bregman/2009/06/how-to-teach-yourself-restrain.html that an ability to resist urges will improve your relationships, increase your dependability, and raise your performance. If you can resist your urges, you can make better, more thoughtful decisions. You can be more intentional about what you say and how you say it. You can think about the outcome of your actions before following through on them.

And in a campaign in which red meat rhetoric designed to attract party 'base' voters is ever present, she is a committed vegetarian.

So, her weight must be due to even larger quantities of alcohol than I previously assumed.
