Because everyone had such a great time at the last shoot we are anxious for the next one.
The date for the 8th Annual TCMS shoot will be June 8th, 2013 and will be held at Dietz Gun Shop and Shooting Range, in New Braunfels, TX. Providing we get the OK from Mr. Dietz I will call him this week to discuss our coming to the range.
Staying in the Pelican Bay cottages this year was a stroke of genius, so we will again be staying in cottages. The cottage pick for this shoot is the Cypress Creek Cottages, in Wimberley, TX. There are only twelve cottages at this place, and as of this writing 7 of them have been reserved. NOTE: They require full payment at the time the reservations are made. Wimberley also has some very nice hotels in the area in the event all the cottages get rented.
Making it a three & a half day weekend will be the plans for many of us, that way we can enjoy the area and have lots of porch time.
The Friday night dinner & Saturday breakfast places have not yet been decided. There is still plenty of time to figure out those details. Saturday after the shoot lunch will be provided by our own chef ~ cpdiii (Thanks Charlie!). Suggestions for the Saturday night meal are more than welcome.
My thanks to mylife, penelopesire, LuvW, BuckeyeTexan and NYTexan for their help in getting these plans going.
Lavender Farms!! Absolutely have to go see that for ‘research purposes’. 7 miles from where we are staying. My retirement fantasy of growing lavender and sunflowers requires it...lol. Only other thing I want to absolutely do is hang out in tube on the Guadalupe drinking beer and visiting best group of folks I’ve met in many a year!
We should just start a Free Republic retirement community down there for patriots...lol!! If we build it, they will come...lol!
Yeah, like that works every time it's tried.
We'll see what we can do to make that happen.
The Lavender thang...not so much.
Sounds like a good plan.
Take your camera.
We had a great time too! I had a fuzzy head this morning , but nothing too bad...lol. We will have to do it again next year!! Next year we will plan on eating out before we go, although midnight tacos were pretty good!
I won’t force anyone to go with me to look at all the pretty flowers...lol. I know you guys have serious beer drinking to do and all....lol.
Yeah, I had a fuzzy head this morning too, but I washed down an aspirin with a bloody mary and the world was good again. LOL
Best idea I’ve heard yet!! Retirement in the hill country of Texas. I’d SO be there! *sigh*
OK. Our business plan for the FReeper Retirement Community is to keep buying lottery tickets until someone hits big.
LOL! That is some plan all right! :)
Especially since I’ve never bought one! I am too cheap. :)
From my understanding, buying a ticket increases your odds of winning. LOL
I win the lottery:
Purchase 1000+ acres in Menard or Brewster counties.
Front 300 acres = facilities that ladies might find comfortable.
Back 700... couple deer camps that you can’t find without
drones or infiltration.
You ‘bout packed yet?
Dang! I knew there had to be a catch! LOL!
Gittin’ there, BB... :)
Just have to get that plane ticket purchased! LOL!
Now now...us women need at least access to the back forty so we can drag your asses home when u forget the way....lol. Let’s split it 700/300..after all..all u guys need is 300 acres to piss on here and there..we have to build latrines, shopping malls, nail and hair salons, grocery stores, male strip clubs..u know..the essentials....lol.
Yer most welcome Jim!
Glock, this is now the time ya head to Texas...
Don’t make us send Humblegunner up ta hijack yer arse!
Yeah...we galz need more fun stuff to keep us happy than guys. Doesn’t take that much room for scratchin’ and spittin’ and shootin;. LOL!
