Laura Ingraham: Media "Culpable" In Libya Cover Up For Not Demanding Truth (video)
RealClearPolitics ^ | October 14, 2012 | Ian Schwartz

LAURA INGRAHAM: I think about Susan Rice going out there on this show and four other shows on Sunday and I'd like to know, did Susan Rice have any direct or indirect contact with anyone from the Obama campaign? David Axelrod? Plouffe? Maybe Valerie Jarrett, she still works in the White House, but obviously very close to the President. Tom Donilon. I would like to know that. I'd like Mr. Axelrod to answer that question.

I would hope that the New York Times, as they camped outside of Scooter Libby's house during the whole Valerie Plame thing -- are you guys (facing fellow panelist Jeff Zeleny of the New York Times) camped outside of the Susan Rice residence? I mean, seriously. Whether she was put out as a sacrificial lamb or not.

We have a dead ambassador, two Navy SEALS dead, another security officer dead, the President answers this the next morning by flying to Vegas for a fundraiser. I submit that if this were a Republican president and this went down this way, you'd have reporters camped outside of Hillary's house, Rice's house and demand that the president do a full-blown press conference on what happened. Maybe it's just incompetence, maybe it's a series of innocent mistakes. But my goodness, when you have three attacks, violent attacks, inside Benghazi on the Red Cross office, the consulate and then postings on Facebook that we're coming after you on September 10. They didn't have any actionable intelligence? What? This is ridiculous. And I think that the press is partly culpable here.

It’s the manpads! The big story is that those Americans were killed to keep us from recovering the missiles! The missiles that Obama and Hillary and their stupid Democrat ideas lost! My God, if there’s a terrorist attack with those missiles, then the proximate cause will be Obama, Hillary and the Democrat party’s failed policies. They aren’t just trying to protect Obama, they’re trying to save the whole Democrat party!

They've pretty much dropped the "actionable intelligence" excuse.

Glad to see Laura resurrect it. That was once of the biggest lies.

"Weapons Hunting - The Reason For The 9-11 Murders In Libya"

He and Ambassador Stevens, as well as the two other special operators from Wind Zero, were executing a CIA and State Department mission to track not only Qaddafi’s weapons, but to trace any and all weapons trafficking in the regions. Smith was the information officer at the Benghazi mission and likely was too close to having uncovered intelligence that pinpointed key players both in and outside of Libya. Intelligence was shared with the CIA, which does enforce the drone program, whether inside Libya, stemming from the mission to remove Qaddafi, or in other hot-spots in the Middle East.

"While The Rest of You Have Been Distracted"

Sensitive U.S. files were abandoned in Libya Consulate

6:55PM EST October 3. 2012 – Sensitive documents were left behind in the remains of the U.S. Consulate in Libya and some may have been stolen in the chaotic aftermath, The Washington Post reports from Benghazi.

Documents a Post reporter found scattered on the floor today included weapons collection, personnel records of Libyan security contractors, emergency evacuation procedures and the travel schedule of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, who died with three others when the Consulate was attacked and burned Sept. 11. None were marked classified, but State Department officials who were shown copies of the documents asked that they not be published.

The media is complicit in a cover up, and by law, there’s probably nothing you can do about it. OTOH, if democrats can drag CEOs before Congress because they fly on corporate jets, then you ought to be able to bring in media editors for this complicity.

A year later, the war in Libya is far from over

October 23, 2012 will be exactly one year after the Chairperson of the National Transitional Council declared that the Liberation of Libya was complete. A few days later the Secretary General of NATO, General Anders Fogh Rasmussen declared the end of the NATO mission, declaring that the NATO mission to Libya had been ‘one of the most successful in NATO history.’ Despite this announcement of success there are daily reports of fighting all across Libya with the levels of insecurity unprecedented in the history of the country with over 1,700 militias roaming. After Col Gaddafi was executed on October 20, 2011, the disinformation agencies of empire worked hard to keep the news of the militias and the insecurity out of international news.

(snip)

These well-crafted versions of the ‘transition’ concealed the continued warfare that was going on all over Libya. There were approximately 1,700 militia groups running the country with each neighborhood dominated by a faction that went into the business of using weapons as a means of gaining access to resources. After the death of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, US citizens were alerted to the existence of what the State Department called ‘security incidents.’ But the 230 ‘security incidents’ over the past year were the tip of the iceberg of the massive destabilization and killings that had occurred. Black skinned Libyans from Tawergha were expelled from their community and more than 30,000 displaced. Even the usual spokespersons for Western imperial missions had to speak out as Human Rights Watch joined in the condemnation of the rule of the militias. Human Rights Watch brought out a ‘Report Rule of Law or Rule of Militias’ bringing into sharper focus some of the outstanding questions of the role of these armed marauders all over Libya. In June one militia brigade briefly took over Tripoli international airport

Someone should tell the press copies of Mitts tax return, and details of his fiscal platform, were in Beghazi Libya, with a second copy at Susan Rice’s home

Definitely. The media bastards know how to ferret out information when a Republican or other normal person is involved. They deliberately go out of their way to intentionally, with full knowledge, hide the truth about other democrats.

Deadly Attack in Libya Was Major Blow to C.I.A. Efforts Sept. 23, 2012

Among the more than two dozen American personnel evacuated from the city after the assault on the American mission and a nearby annex were about a dozen C.I.A. operatives and contractors, who played a crucial role in conducting surveillance and collecting information on an array of armed militant groups in and around the city.

“It’s a catastrophic intelligence loss,” said one American official who has served in Libya and who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the F.B.I. is still investigating the attack. “We got our eyes poked out.”

Col. Hunt On The Newest Libyan Revelations (huge coverup!)

Everyone was informed of the attack in Benghazi in real time. Sec. State, Pres., the Pentagon, the CIA ... It's automatic, required by law and all logged.

Did you catch the NY Times reporter on Fox? After Laura said that if it were a Republican President the press would be camped outside of Susan Rice’s door, the NYT guy said the Libya investigation will be left up to the “campaigns”. Brit even came back and reiterated that the press had a responsibility to investigate.
