There will be a second attempt today for Felix to jump from a ballon at 120,000 feet and parachute, breaking the record for high altitude jumps. There should be a live feed on the website.

I’ve watched the price of brand name soda go through the roof. Then they did what the candy bar makers did (same price smaller product) and they now sell “cases” of 20 cans. Of course, they have to pay for millions in advertising and sponsorships somehow.

All this tells me is that Red Bull is way overpricedThese types of consumer products spend boatloads of money on advertising. Red Bull has 2.6 million people watching the You Tube feed alone, and has been getting its name in the news for about a year on this project. It is a great way to advertise in the internet age. I like it better than just spending the equivalent money on super bowl ads.

Seems like everything is OK.
Passing through 94,500ft, still working on the visor heating issue.
Visor has electric heating wires in it...
About 20 minutes to jump.

I wonder what the ramifications are.

If he jumps without heat for the visor, it’s likely his breath will freeze on the inside and obscure his vision on the way down...
Don’t know if there is a point where is would not condense and freeze...like frost on your inside window in Winter...
We’ll find out.

Visor could ice up inside suit and he’d have no visibility.
