Absolutely. And, the statement that Biden had 42 minutes vs Ryan’s 40 minutes of talk time can’t be taking the time Biden was talking over Ryan into account.

After a post at the beginning, I gave up. I played a game while I watched the debate since this is so frustrating. It will be worse on election day, so there’s no point in coming to a live thread.
I agree with Krauthammer’s take because I listened rather than watched.
Wifey dear and I sat out by the firepit with the horses and listened on remote speakers from FOX and it sounded bad for Ryan....I kept screaming at Ryan a dozen times to fight back with specific replies that I as a usual freeper was prepped with knowledge wise....Ryan seemed like he was being schooled by tough Joe.
But Krauthammer said on TV Biden looked bad and that women hate boorish men...they do..no doubt...they can be bitchy but men had ought not be boorish...
anyhow...Chuck then said on substance that it was a draw.
Ryan better get tough and show more emotion before 2020

I was a kid when those debates occurred. Nixon just wasn’t as photogenic as Kennedy? Or did Nixon grimace or make other visual gaffes?

That was a memorable moment. It wasn't that he stuck his chest out, it was more like he looked up, as Turkey Gore was trying to alpha male into his personal space, and laughed in a relaxed way, as in "What are you doing, fool?".
