The key bit comes in the last 20 seconds but I’m giving you four full minutes because I want you to watch her blithely assure CNN at the beginning that “the administration has been open and honest since day one about the Benghazi attack.” The administration she’s referring to there is the same one that had a dozen or so different intelligence reports flowing in within the first few hours after the attack pointing to an Al Qaeda connection and yet still sent Susan Rice out to lie to the media about a “spontaneous protest” five days later. CNN helpfully refreshes her memory with a lowlight reel of White House spin, whereupon a cornered flack falls back on her most basic impulse in a desperate situation: She blames the other party for making a big deal out of nothing. And by “nothing,” I mean the murder of the U.S. ambassador and three American consulate personnel.
Ace thinks this is a consummate Kinsleyan gaffe, revealing the Obama campaign’s survival instinct at its most rat-like in the aftermath of Benghazi. Could be, but it’s hard to picture Gibbs or Ben LaBolt saying something like this even in a desperate moment. There’s something here specific to Cutter herself and her Orwellian approach to spin. You saw another example of it just a few hours ago.

Oh; Obama showed up at some microphone somewhere with Slick Hilly Clinton, with the most serious looking expression I’ve seen on his face - like he was wearing a mask. Hilly had her arms outstretched and raised as if to say, “I’m in control here!” - Then they proceeded to go on and on for days trumpeting that it was some obscure video dissing Mohammed that caused the 9/11 (!!!) uprising at Benghazi. - Wow! Two birds with one stone; a “crisis” AND another chance to attack our pesky Constitutional right to free speech; even arrested the guy who was supposed to have made the video . . and on and on, for DAYS, they kept telling the same story . . until it became clear it is a lie.
“Ned” in the First Reader was more qualified than these yahoos. - Slick Hilly’s done a disappearing act; and I WISH Obama and his whole commie crew would join her. - I sure as shootin’ am ready to at least give Romney and Ryan a try.

The risks are not unknown. What this situation has is earlier high level presidential involvement in the area/country followed in short order by what looks like criminal indifference to the plight of the people the president sent in to do State department work.
Sounds like Representative Cummings is equally indifferent.

The lack of outrage regarding the murders in Benghazi by we citizens was deafening. Was puzzled by that after a few days.
Husband wrote a letter (published) maybe 2 years ago to the newspaper about that very subject: that if H. Truman hadn’t dropped that bomb, he wouldn’t have been alive. He was a sailor aboard a ship, destination unknown, when the war was declared ‘over.’
The Kenyan must be worried that the Nobel Prize folks ask for the Peace prize back.
