RIP Beano, I always enjoy your perspective.

Didn’t realize he was that old. Seems everyone today is older than I thought.
wait, as you get older you get to know more....*smiles*
Aww. beano.
I always enjoyed Beano. I had not heard of him for some time.
Also wonder if Keith Jackson is still active. I guess he is retired but I always thought he was the best college announcer there was.
Beano was fun to listen to.
Even when I “hated” him, I loved the guy. RIP my friend.
You only had to hear him once for him to make an impression. He’ll be missed.
RIP Beano... You had a hypnotizing neck when you talked.
He’s suffered enough...
Probably could have avoided some suffering if he hadn’t made the following statement:
“Lets give Ron Pauless (freshman QB, Notre Dame) the first of 4 heisman trophies right now! he’s that good!”
BTW the kid never won a Heisman.
That being said he was always pleasant to listen too even if he wasn’t right on some things.
RIP.
Mongo and Beano in the same week. Hope John Havlicek lives for many more years.
Joe Girardi’s dad passed today, too; also at age 81.
