Claimed that the donors were healthy, accident victims that were organ donors? They think they can get by with only short term immunosuppressant drugs.

Check this story and the link in comment# 1. If this works out without complications, the number of genetic diseases of the central nervous system is a lot.

I got 251 results for the central nervous system at a gov't Genetics Home Reference.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that stem cell 'treatment' for various diseases will really happen in my lifetime. It's an amazing thought, too!
