There was a fairly detailed play by play yesterday in the Congressional hearing.
Yes, but the mother in the video said she had no idea how her son actually died. The interview was yesterday I believe, and she said she learned something new today (10/10/12), that her son died of smoke inhalation, but she also said she couldn't be sure if that was true. She wonders if he was shot? Nobody's given her an official finding on what actually happened to him. She spoke to Obama, Biden, Panetta, etc., all in person at the reception, and she said they promised they would make sure she knew what had happened to her son. Nobody's told her a thing since then.
So, from her interview with Anderson Cooper, I'm under the impression that she learned about his dying from smoke inhalation from the hearings, and not from an official government or military notice. What a way to find out how your child died...from a hearing aired on TV. It's disgraceful.
