Fox’s Eric Bolling Calls Jay Carney A Liar, Accuses White House Of ‘Cover Up’ Over Benghazi Attacks

On today’s episode of Fox News’ The Five co-host Eric Bolling had harsh words for White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, accusing the spokesman of lying and the administration of covering up its previous knowledge of the terrorist intentions behind the September assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

After the show played a clip of ABC reporter Jake Tapper confronting Carney about his claims that the violence was a spontaneous reaction to a YouTube video despite the administration’s claimed knowledge of it being a sophisticated terrorist attack, Bolling expressed his anger:

“Jay Carney is lying to the American people. I will say it unequivocally because the man did say that he blamed the movie. The day after, Hillary Clinton came out and blamed the movie the following day. ‘It was the movie.’ Day five, Ambassador Susan Rice, who is in the State Department under Hillary Clinton said it was the movie. She told everyone. Five days later Jay Carney said it’s the movie. Even on Air Force One he said it’s the movie. My problem here is that the day before the hearing, yesterday, the day before the congressional hearing, the State Department says, ‘By the way, we knew all along it was terrorism. In fact, we knew we had credible evidence all along. We never said it was the movie.’ But they did. Hillary Clinton said it. Ambassador Rice said it.”

“This is a White House coverup,” he alleged. “The State Department says, ‘We’re not part of the coverup. We’ll tell the truth the day before the hearing.’ And even more disturbing: They stonewalled for three weeks so we couldn’t find out exactly what happened. Meanwhile, four americans are dead.”

Liberal host Bob Beckel added that President Obama should address the debacle and say “Look, we just should have laid this thing out. We didn’t do it.” Instead, he said, right now “the hole is getting too deep.”

Co-host Greg Gutfeld then chided the administration for initially blaming the attacks on an anti-Islam YouTube video, saying “They are spinning more tails than a tuxedo factory.”

“What spread the riots? Not just the initial riots, but the riots that came afterwards. You know who spread them?” he asked his colleagues. “The administration did. The administration is responsible for what happened by blaming the video. They appeased a mob, incited the mob to commit more mob violence.”

They lied about Fast and Furious and lied about Libya.
People are dead. Why are they dead?

So true it was bad enough they lied but it also made things worse --Those other idiots never even heard of the movie till the administration started using it

That’s a real good question....

IMHO, about 8 to 10 days out of the election day, the Clintons will thrust the knife deep into that pricks back....

Don’t know the who or what’s but once it’s clear Obama is going down, the long knives will come....

Hillary will strike first since he Obama did what he did to her in 2008...

Hillary is contadicting Obama to protect her own behind.
She knows this scandal is big and involves murders which may have been prevented. Obama is going to have to answer questions in a debate. Hopefully, Ryan will address this tomorrow night.

this whole situation is further proof of the anti-Americanism rampant in this regime. Instead of blaming this on terrorists, they chose instead to repeat the lie over and over again that America was at fault for someone in this country exercising their free speech rights!

In other words, were it not for Americans exercising their first amendment rights, those 4 Americans would be alive! Obama even apologized for our first amendment!!!

He hates this country. He hates this constitution. He hates anyone who won’t bow to his will.

FUBO!!!

Sounds like Obama was just doing some "community organizing".

If we just stay on this horrific coverup, we can keep O on the defensive.

This isn't a good thing for Obama, but it's one he can get around. He'll use the Bush defense of 'bad info', and stick to it, and eventually ABCNBCCBS will agree. After all, don't all Presidents lie about foreign affairs?

However, if Donorgate had been addressed, there was the possibility that the Obama campaign would have had to better validate credit cards, and it might have limited the possibility of foreign donations and greatly limited the money he got. That would have hurt.

But, we knew all that back in 2008 and the Republicans have done nothing with it. Limiting his money, proving that he was cheating with foreign backing should have been labeled as traitorous activity. If we could limit the money flow, we could limit his defense to other issues.

Not addressing this issue is strongly suggestive that the Republicans are either complicit, or too stupid or too cowardly to win.

Republicans in D.C. are deathly afraid of Obama. Lay low, and hope to stay long enough to pension out. Useless cowards.

Lay low, and hope to stay long enough to pension out.

I did retire recently, partly with the idea that I'd better do it now, to rest up a bit before I have to go back to work when the SHTF.

Having a pension from the private sector that is not indexed to inflation, I decided to get it while there was something to get. Hopefully, my various investments will do ok with inflation.

"Useless Cowards", "The Stupid Party", these phrases are tragically too accurate. But I'm starting to have trouble thinking that the DC Republicans are really so deluded that they don't understand how stupid and ineffectual they appear.

Not much in politics today is as it appears. For example, some pundits say that Biden will offend the independents and women, yet we know that lots of women prefer the strong bad boy, even when that's not what they tell the pollster. Of course, it'd be poor press to say that's what the Biden campaign is trying to do - portray Biden as the strong bad boy. Heaven knows he's not going to come off as the wise elder statesman, so what else do you do?
