The fatal attack on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Libya last month has become a test of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s leadership and a threat to her much-admired legacy as America’s top diplomat just a few months before she plans to step down.
Clinton was among the first Obama administration officials to publicly condemn the attack and mourn the deaths of Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. But as the State Department has weathered Republican-led criticism that it misread warning signs before the Sept. 11 attack, Clinton has been far less visible.
Clinton will not appear at a Wednesday oversight hearing on the Libya attack, where House Republicans have said they will question the State Department’s security preparations and the administration’s account of the attack. The State Department will instead send a trusted career diplomat along with three security officials.
Ahead of the hearing, State Department officials provided new details about the attack while asserting that there had been no way to predict or prevent the sustained assault.

Now that the MSM has awoken from their slumber and are refusing to run cover for this inept, corrupt administration, Hillary is being readied to be thrown under Barry's bus. The Clintons won't go quietly though, Billy hates Barry and I think may get pissed enough to try to torpedo Barry's re-election bid.
My first reaction that day was disbelief when I saw her attempt to sell the crazy notion that friendly Libyans were assisting the wounded Ambassador and respectfully transported him to the hospital where they did everything to save his life.
I had just seen the photos on twitter that said otherwise - and if any joe shmoe can see this stuff on twitter, then I assumed our DC officials have seen it too.
It is unbelievable how they will go out there and tell bold lies like that.
The State Dept’s Officer Huma had
her own people conduct
the attack that murdered the Ambassador.
Meanwhile, the US Congress remains asleep
next to its trough. So, shhhhhh, and move along.

“Well-respected”???? By whom? Hillary Clinton has accomplished exactly nothing in the way of foreign policy. She’s done as she’s told and acted as Obama’s doormat proxy, but little else.
I guess in the Wapo’s bok, that constitutes a glorious foreign policy record.

WHY did they perpetuate the lie?
A spontaneous riot was somehow our fault. We have free speech and this crazy film was our responsibility. We can’t stop it. Apologize for it.
Pre planned attack means:
1. AQ is not “on its heels”
2. Where was our pre planning? Where was the security? Were tree warnings? Yes. So why no response?
It was a planned scheme to deflect political fallout.
It was no just incompetence.
I have not seen the “why” questioned asked yet.
