Agreed. Stevens was sent into an ambush that was staged to be a hostage-taking but got out of control. 0bama was looking for a 'Reagan type of hostage freeing'.. The same feeling of nationalism we all felt when the 444 day hostage seize in Iran came to an end, but this time right before the upcoming election. First and foremost, two MAJOR questions:

WHY WAS THE BENGHAZI EMBASSY MADE TO BE VULNERABLE RIGHT BEFORE 9/11?

WHY WAS STEVENS IN THE BENGHAZI EMBASSY ON 9/11 AND NOT THE MORE SECURE TRIPOLI COMPOUND?

There is another FR post here that offers this theory. At first blush kind of crazy, but when you think about the sequence of events not so crazy after all. 'Fast & Furious' didn't sound plausible either and also resulted in Americans dying.
