President Obama continues to lead Mitt Romney in Connecticut.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state finds Obama with 51% support to 45% for Romney. One percent (1%) prefers some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided.
If the Dems decide to sit this one out, Romney may get closer than that!
Could you imagine if he won Connecticut?
Mirrors the earlier Ras poll showing Linda down by the same margin. Romney highly unlikely to win CT, but a 6 point deficit in this state implies BIG national problems for the Kenyan Marxist.
If he wins CT then many other blue states are up for grabs.
If the spread is only 6 in Conn for Obama, that spells big big trouble in a lot of states for Obama, no question of that, 6 in Conn, no way he wins swings states like Ohio.
1980.
Reagan won CT, so it is possible. If Romney forces Zero to spend campaign cash in CT, that is a very good thing.
If Mitt gets 40% in MA, it’s over for Zero.
LOL Obama is going down in flames. I’d love to see the polling for California since until recently I was bombarded with nothing but Obama Ads..if the undecideds go to Romney in Connecticut this is going to be one amazing election. No wonder Obama is already packing his bags for Hawaii
thats not the point is, Obama win Conn by 23 points in 2008, now leading by 6 in deep blue Conn...........if you can’t figure that one out.......
If the Glovemeister wins CT, this election is over by 8:15 pm Eastern.
This is damn close for The People's Socialst Republik of Connecticut!
I haven't been polled by Rasmussen yet... but I have in past years. Smartest and most efficient poll I ever participated in. (I've been polled by Quinnipiac University and others)
That’s gotta be close to the margin of error.
Yes, and Mitt’s actually closer to a CT kind of guy—’moderate’, financial, and all of that.
If Mitt is only down 6, then Linda may be leading in the Senate race.
Nah its identical, Rasmussen let the senate numbers early, same split 51 - 45 but said room for improvement.
I live in CT. I saw my first Obama ad last night or Sunday. In parts of the state, you wouldn’t know Obama is running based on lawn signs.
With places like Bridgeport, Obama will likely win CT, but it will be close.
...probably pissed off a lot of people when he closed down the beach for his fund raiser last summer..
Murphy at 51? I am bummed. He strikes me as a uniquely unimpressive candidate from what little I’ve seen from out of state.
