Nope, sorry, the polls are wrong. The government said Chavez wins by a landslide. OR ELSE........
All of my friends, both Venezuelan expats and those still in country, are just crushed that Chavez “won”. A tragedy all the way around.
Associated Press never gets anything wrong...
Welcome to the world of the “freely-elected” dictators. Of course Chavez lost; but then, the magic happens behind closed doors and voila! Chavez is declared the winner!
I never had any doubt about the final outcome. He did it last election cycle, too!
Cheers
How about this zany third world!
It could be us, soon..
I thought ABC wasn’t going to do exit polls!!!
This is what EL Pais,a major paper in Spain, says. My very, very limited command of Spanish tells me that Chavez is getting 54% of the vote at present.Even if my translation is incorrect I predict that he'll have 80% of the vote when all the votes are "counted".
80 % voter turnout
AP called it for the Commie!!!
Oh my goodness, what if something like this happens here?
Is there any point anymore to Venezuela? I mean they are done until this guy dies, and maybe even after that, no?
It reads that Chavez won 54 percent of the vote with voter participation of 80.94%
I’m thinking the government reports must be accurate /s/
Venezuela is a rising star. Who would dare doubt the reports? Does the sun rise in the east?
Some firm in Spain will ‘count’ our votes.
Jobs sent overseas!
I think obama said there’s a tax break for that at the first debate.
Romney, business fool that he is had not heard of it..
What we need is WWIII. With enough megatonnage to wipe the commies and the islamics off the face of the planet.
Gonna be uncomfortable times.
