The men and women of the Detroit Police Department believe the city is too dangerous to enter, and they want citizens to know it.
Detroit Police Officer Association (DPOA) Attorney Donato Iorio said officers are holding the Enter At Your Own Risk rally at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in front of Comerica Park to remind the public that the officers are overworked, understaffed, and at times, fearful for their lives.

And so, when GPS map makers want to include the ability to avoid dangerous areas, they are called racist. In other words, it’s better for innocent lost normal people to be trapped in a ghetto and be attacked, robbed and killed than for someone to feel offended.

No S#%@ Sherlock, although downtown isn't that bad. That's where the cops usually patrol.

I just drove thru there in May to cross the border into Canada....believe me I would have stayed out of Detroit but it is one of the least painful of the border crossings (Ambassador Bridge)
Yes, Detroit looks as bad as everyone says. Just an absolute crap hole

The Detroit of my youth used to be a nice place. JL Hudson Thanksgiving Parade, the JL Hudson Christmas Toy Land with Santa, the window animation Christmas displays at Hudson, all the stores and movie houses on Woodward Ave, etc.
50 years of LibTurd RAT rule has made it this mess

Yes.
Just look at our troops, they can’t shoot at night even if they see someone planting IED’s because it might disturb and upset the locals.
Feelings are now more important than life.

If they really wanted to increase tourism and clean up the city, they’d let gun owners go on ‘safari’ and thin out the gangsters and other bad elements.
