Oh man... About this time last year I was in Philly on a business trip... had a real cheese-steak and a Yeungling.

One of the most enjoyable meals I've ever had. The Yuengling was reminescent of what Coors once was, long ago, before they were forced to start selling nationwide.

Man...you just described one of the few pleasures of residing in the Philly metro area. Nothing like a Yuengling draft at a Phillies or Flyers game. I've always enjoyed the fact that the Phillies and Flyers (conservative ownership)offer Yuengling and Flying Fish on tap while the Lib owned Eagles only offer the usual major brands.

I agree with your Post # 9. Coors was once a great beer. Loved it! And then they went nationwide. Ruined the stuff.

Augie Busch once said Coors would never be sold in the state of Missouri. How wrong he was. But at what cost-to Coors?

Oh, and don't get me started on what expansion did to Rolling Rock. Another once great beer. One could pour it gently in a frosted mug on a cold day and the suds would overflow the glass a second later. Great stuff. What they did to it was a crime.
