Yuengling, now the largest American-owned brewer, says it likely won't build its next brewery in Pennsylvania for business reasons

Really good beer, if a little on the “light” end of the flavor spectrum. I hope they build their next brewery in the south. That would be a poke in the eye to the Northeats/midwest high tax states.

I wish that some reporter would ask that smug SOB and ex-governor Ed Rendell about this. (He’s everywhere despite having left office) He has a Clinton-esque way with the truth and nobody ever calls him on his outrageous claims about his economic record. He was an unmitigated disaster.

Too bad they couldn’t buy the Tennessee facility. I’m sure that would be a good state for them. I’m a big Yingling fan.

Hubby’s favorite beer, I’m glad that they’re doing well.

Oh man... About this time last year I was in Philly on a business trip... had a real cheese-steak and a Yeungling.

One of the most enjoyable meals I've ever had. The Yuengling was reminescent of what Coors once was, long ago, before they were forced to start selling nationwide.

The real title should be:

Rampant liberalism is bad for business. Dick Yuengling Jr. tries to explain to a nation of idiotic Obummer voters why.

I am so disappointed in Mr. Yuengling. How dare he put profits above the needs of the community? Doesn't he OWE Pennsylvania a lot for his success? After all, who built the roads his beer trucks drive on?

The company I work for has offices in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Every time the crew from San Jose goes back there, everyone who enjoys a good beer looks forward to pounding a few Yuenglings.

Yuengling, come to the Mountains of NC.

Sierra Nevada, New Belgium and Oskar Blues are opening major breweries there amongst the many micro breweries in the area.

Yuengling?

I gather it's a German name but the spelling makes it look Chinese: Yung Ling.

They'll fit in well over there.

Come on down to Texas. Business friendly, good road net, good rail net. And lots of college students, rednecks, oil patch and factory workers who drink lots of beer year round.

Build it in Washington! I just returned from Pittsburgh and enjoyed a couple of cold Yuengling draft Lagers and a pizza at Primanti’s while watching the Mountaineers take care of Texas last night. It doesn’t get much better than that.

They can’t expand westward fast enough to suit me. I wouldn’t mind it if Dunkin Donuts put their return to the west on a faster track either.
