In other words, one should say, “non-legal persons from ‘south-of-the-border.’” I suppose one could if one didn't want people to understand what one was talking about. WE seemed to be talking about about the usage of the word "slut" (or lack thereof).
I guess you were trying to be clever, but do what you will with some friendly advice: Don't.
