When Errol Emrich drove by a Shell station in his San Jose neighborhood last weekend, regular gas was selling for $4.05 a gallon. On Monday, it was $4.15. On Tuesday, $4.25. And this weekend? Analysts say it could reach a whopping $4.40. Problems at California refineries have slashed supplies across the state, cutting fuel production and raising wholesale prices -- the price stations pay for their gasoline -- by as much as 73 cents, to levels not seen since 2007. And that almost certainly will boost prices at the pump again soon. "California gasoline prices may surge in the next five days, perhaps to levels higher than February's $4.33-a-gallon average," said Patrick DeHaan, an analyst with Gasbuddy.com. "It is within the realm of possibility that average prices reach near $4.40 or even higher if the situation worsens."

“Yeah, unless you live here and are continually outvoted by them. Then there is nothing pleasant about it.”
Call 1-800-GO-UHAUL. They can help.
Thanks for letting me know about Prop 32. I have been seeing Ads for and against it but wasn’t very familiar with the Proposition. Now I know which way to vote..Yes on 32, no on 30 and 38(By the way what are those propositions about)
I’m going to do that. It will say “ Change you can Believe in
Spend it here”
Have I ever mentioned my car insurance rate fell by half when I left California to return to America. It turns out 20% of the drivers in Colorado aren’t illegal aliens without insurance.
moped time.... shoulda come to the Fiesta, gas is $3.58 in NM. ;)
“I feel lost in California. Help I just paid $4.49 for gas today.”
Help is at hand: 1-800-GO-UHAUL
Nothing in californication is worth dealing with the evil cretins that live there and run the state. Not the beauty, not the weather, not the (former) economic opportunity.
Good, perhaps it’ll teach the idiots living there to stop voting straight-party Democrat.
Now let’s have that happen here in Illinois too to teach the f’ing idiots here the same damn’ thing!
good thing i live close to wisconsin
The more people associate the gas prices with Obama’s policies the worse it will be for him. People here are pissed, they even shut down a gas station at a Costco in Alhambra I believe because they “ran out of gas.” Also Ive seen gas prices here locally around 4:50 a gallon depending on the area, its ridiculous yet these fools keep on voting for Obama

Don’t move here.
30 is for Browns sales tax increase and also a tax increase for earners over 250K

38 Molly Monger proposition backed by the PTA is a tax increase for all over 48K for 12 years. This prop is the one I hate the most because the commercials don’t tell you it is a tax increase. Here is the link to it go to section 8 (on the right hand side) and it will show you how much tax you will pay. I would have to pay $1100.00

I am being told that our current gasoline price is the same as it was thirty years ago when indexed for inflation.
Thanks so much really appreciate it
I’ll call “bunk” on that claim.
Go ahead and back it up.
no it wont. we think it will, but it wont . libs/media will justify it as big oil making a bigger buck while the greens will hail the misery and strike out evermore for green energy
If California didn’t have it’s own “special blend” of gasoline then we’d be able to make up the shortfall from other sources. But no, California has to do it differently and has to rely on the output of local refineries. I drove past a gas station in town that has the lowest price, and on the way back several hours later the price had gone up five cents.
Too bad my husbands salary is not indexed for inflation.
Here is a handy chart of what gas prices have been .

I’m wondering if anybody has that information.
$4.19 reg. in NYS. Geeez, what an issue it would be if Bush was still President.
I can already see Lil’ O busting into the strategic reserves. I’ve heard he’s campaigning there. Why is that necessary.
Could California be in play for Romney? That is a state at their wits end.
