Because he’s a moron who is not used to being challenged and all those years of “getting all wee weed up” took a toll on whatever brain cells the bastard had. You could see right at the beginning that when Romney began quoting facts and statistics from memory that Hussein was taken by surprise. he couldn’t compete on an intellectual level. He doesn’t carry his TOTUS to the ice cream shop, or to the third grade classroom for nothing!

Because it is the first time he actually had to seriously debate someone. The problem for the Left is the real Obama showed up last night.

“Theories abound up to and including that Obama, who had done debate prep in Las Vegas, struggled to adjust to Denvers altitude. (Not kidding. That is a theory espoused by none other than former Vice President Al Gore).

High altitude makes you stupid? LOL

Obama just plain sucks! I also think he has some significant mental and physical problems. The guy looked like a drug user and skeleton. Hmmm!

You simply missed it. He did the hmm’uh, nhhn, am, hum, muh about 5 minutes in. That was his high point.

Theories abound My theory is: cocaine.
Okay, maybe Xanax or some other prescription medication.
This morning Obama is upbeat and bubbling with enthusiasm.
Last night he was flat, deflated, disinterested.

Obama was unprepared last night. Is anyone surprised? He was unprepared when he took the oath of office and he has remained so for four years. Oh, did I mention that he is also lazy.

I have a slightly different take. I think in 2008 Obama actually believed the hype, he really thought he was a messianic figure that was going to save the planet, usher in a new utopia and be loved and adored by the masses. Well, not only did he fail, he failed miserably. The man I saw up on stage, looking at the floor droning on in a monotone was someone that knows he is a failure, has little self confidence and is just “going through the motions”.

I live in Colorado at 7,700 feet. Pro football teams learned long ago to come into Denver right before their games as the effects are felt less at first and much more a day or two later. Obama flew in just hours before the debate so altitude was not his problem.
Obama is weak when challenged directly, that’s all. Everyone has been afraid to challenge him due to the race baiting. Romney challenged him without looking racist, and that defense is now gone.

I don't think that is what happened. From watching all the DNC spin masters in the Media last night, I think they were prepared for a repeat of McCain. They were not prepared for Romney at all. The Dems in the spin after the debate kept trotting out these inane absurd talking points that were completely at odds with everything we saw in the debate.
This is fairly typical for Leftists, once you take them off script they simply lack the intellectual ability to respond well. They prepared for one Romney and a completely different one showed up.
The problem for the Left is the real Obama showed up last night. No amount of repackaging can save a failed product.

Axelrod can ‘polish’ zero’s style all he wants. The truth is that without his teleprompter and MSM zero cannot defend the indefensible. Zero lacks substance.

obama is a slacker and a skater and has never earned anything in his entire life. He is below average in intelligence but he is evil, devious and cunning. He was not “out of character"... his character was on display last night and it was flawed and low class.

I’ve been saying all along that he’s on meds...and one of the reasons he has to use a teleprompter....because he can’t stay on message....cuz his head is messed up.
